This is 100% on the director. No wonder the series isn't selling shit, with Kaos being its main character, and then getting this absolutely horrible treatment.

It was nice to see at least an attempt at mixing up character pairings but it was too short to really get into. Having all of side A as blonde/purple then all of side B as tsu/kaosu would have been perfect. We could have seen Kaosu doing something other than feeling bad for herself and trying to hide. For example, talking about console gaming artstyles or their comparatively normalfag friends who went shopping. The beach should have been in a later episode.
