I just can't feel any tension, like, the girl MC sees a naked roommate? Who cares? Girls do that kind of stuff, their barriers against girls are small, so that would be nothing.

And that's what they try to convey in the series: they treat the girl MC with boy's standards, but you can't really feel it and it end up shitty.

You have that Kuudere and Satania liking MC for no reason - and this is different from normal harems now, because they also need a reason to be lesbians enough to like a girl, and it seems that, apart from MC, they have zero interest in girls.

So, everything is all over the place and the thing that tries to salvage the whole thing (and the reason it is popular enough to gain an anime adaptation) are the lewds, which are just a pseudo To Love-Ru.

A little worried about To Be Hero, honestly. Though, Haoliner's seems to have improved somewhat, if you actually watch the second season and compared it to the first season. Though, I think most gave up on a lot of Haoliner shows after the terrible first season. Not saying it was a massive improvement but there was noticeable improvement. Also, there's no tension in the yuri one. As I said above, girls seeing boobs and panties has no tension. That's like, just normal for them. Girls like to hug each other, they see each other naked all the time without getting embarrassed and woman in general are more used to wear clothing that is more revealing, specially of leg, arms and torso.

No tension, no pregnancy risk. They just look like friends, sexually frustrated (they're at puberty's apex) wanting some affection.

And the author tries to make a big deal out of those situations, like they're exceptional, which makes it look like so forced.

It has multiple erorrs, i.e. listening LN adaptations as shounen, Cutey Honey as shoujo and missing some demographic tags.

I don't want to turn this into /rec/, but it depends what you liked about Made in Abyss. If you liked the adventure aspects, you'd probably enjoy Mushoku Tensei or maybe Only Sense Online. If you want cute lolis, UchiMusume is good. For high-stakes action, there's Madan no Ou to Vanadis. I always recommend Sevens because it's Sevens- The greatest god damn serious comedy/adventure to also feature a "realistic" harem. Take it over to the LN thread and other anons might have suggestions. I don't wanna further the /rec/ stuff in this thread.

Is there any hope for S;G0? The VN wasn't very good compared to the original. Not to mention its a lot less linear than the original too. The original's true end story had so much content that it took no less then a dead sprint for it to cram it all into one series. There's not as much content in the true end of S;G0 since it's got its content divided among several paths. Will there be time to spend with some anime original content? Will there be time to explore some non-true end paths? Will there be time to...dare I say it...fix the story of Steins;Gate 0?
