I think they're really going to have to invest in this one if they want the anime to be good. The Hakumei and Mikochi anime is pretty okay, but they cut corners in weird ways and did some questionable stuff with the way scenes are composed. Allmost all production problems come from not having enough good staff. This can't be fixed with money since most good animators are fully booked for a year or more.

It really is a planing/production and networking issue. It's also why more & more anime use CG for intensively animated scenes. It's a better choice then letting 3rd rate animators do the scences. CG is at least consistent.

A perfect example of good networking and production is FranXX. It's done by 2 ex-Gainax teams (Trigger and the group which left with Nishigori to do Idolmaster), the people knew each other and had good contacts to many top freelancers. There was a good core team (Nishigori's team + Trigger) and the free positions were filled with top freelancers.

Logically being half human would make her age faster than other elves, and since she was told that she'll outlive others that doesn't seem to be the case. Unless she's special in some way that makes her live even significantly longer than other elves, I would just assume that it refers to her being an elf living amongst the other races. She's probably got a slightly thicker and longer version of the hair all humans have on their skin. It'd probably stand on end when the adrenaline's pumping, making it more visible during battle. On spots where human skin hair is especially thin (like our cheeks) hers seems to be thin as well; that's why in closeups we only see it around the neck or when bunched up, like in pic 5.

The one exception would be the top of her nose, which looks fuzzier than a human's.
