What else should I have written on my custom water bottle?

Been thinking of getting this but I'm in a bad situation financially right now. Think it'll hang around for a bit or is it a now-or-never situation? I've noticed several stores ran out of their versions with exclusive extras but still have the standard one.

I bought more books. I've just about gotten through reading The Inner Harmony of the Japanese House and it's very good. It gives good historical and cultural insight on how the elements of the Japanese house developed and evolved. The nice thing about it is the author is straight forward about things and doesn't look at them through rose tinted glasses.

Example: Explaining how the traditional Japanese residence is a "theater home" in that the house more or less an empty stage where all the stored furnishings can be taken out, used, and put back as needed. This requires relatively large storehouses or storage space to hold all the things that aren't in use. The traditional western residence is a "museum home" in that most all its stores and furnishings are already permanently displayed out in the room, thus alleviating the need for such extensive storage facilities. So when hybrid style houses were attempted in the postwar rebuilding period, they just ended up building dysfunctional "theater homes" but without the storage space. This forced the residents to store all the things, that would usually be kept in storage, out in the open in the rooms of the house itself. That's why when you see photos of the rooms of today's Japanese houses, they're usually cramped, cluttered and chocked full of shit.

They did. Ueda asserts that the castles were built less for convenience/livability and much more for safety from attack. As for character goods, I usually get artbooks and wallscrolls. Recently I scanned a huge Poyoyon Rock Characters and Strike Witches Complete File artbook (both uploaded to Sad Panda) and now I'm working on the 10th Anniversary Super Sonico artbook. Helps me out too because I can use the images in the artbooks to make custom wallscrolls which are much cheaper to make (just as the guide says). General advice:

1) Hippy stores sell a cornstarch-based baby powder- this works very well for keeping your onaholes firm, apply it after drying after each session- it's worth it as it keeps the silicon feeling supple like skin.

Got some neato stuff in.

First one is a preowned swimsuit Kuroko. Very nice. She's not connected to the base, so you can have her sit on any edge with a flat surface. Gotta be careful where you do place her though; she's a figure after all.

Still in great condition. Blacklight shows something vaguely suspicious along the spot where her hair parts on the back of her head, but that might be the plastic/resin/whatever. Also there's a lot of dust getting picked up so it's hard to tell.

Second is Touhou Visionary Fairies in Shrine vol.1 with limited edition three fairies of light figures. Glad I was able to get these.They're pretty cute! Plus I've got an official printed work now. The only failing point are the wings. They were terrible to get on. Sunny was the worst. I spent like 20 minutes trying to do her wings alone. On the rare occasion I got them to go into the slot, they never stayed for long. Thank God I they went in eventually. I nearly gave up several times.

Another thing to note is that Luna's wings on the box cover, manga cover, and the little slip wrapped around the bottom of the manga with a picture of a live figure show her wings all pointing up. I'm getting mixed feeling from this Elizabeth figure from Max Factory. I was thinking "Why is the price so high for this?" Then I looked closer. The horns are really detailed and look metallic like in her art. The paint job in general is some of the best I've seen. The dress looks like it's made out of a glossy material but still looks like fabric. The clothing on her arms looks natural with its wrinkles and dull paint. Her tail has a lustrous paint job which really makes it stand out while still looking good. Instead of those pink gems being painted on her whole body, they're their own piece that's attached on (or at least that's how they made it look).

What pushes me away though? The pose is boring. The pose in the third image above is a more interesting one. Especially since she's kind of an idol. Also her face and expression are plain. Those are my only gripes. It's so well made, but they could have picked a better pose and expression. I have plenty of time to consider if it's worth it though. And I don't think I'll be hurting on money any time soon.

I have some official ones too and the difference is non existent. The only reason to get official ones is because the image on the scroll can't be found anywhere else. Hell some official wall scrolls use a certain fabric that doesn't make them look as good. This image for example came from the Dungeon Travelers 2 & 2-2 artbook. The official one has watermarks on it (which came with the DT2-2 special edition) and uses a fabric where it shows up on the other side. If I bought a wall scroll from the same people who made the ones I posted, it would most likely turn out better.

Saying that there are some people that make wallscrolls that have white border on the outside of the image despite not originally being there. While that material gives the highest quality image, it's not as flexible either causing it to wrinkle around the corners. I would rather not get any more of those.

Asanagi's figures got painted. I like the flat chested girl more It makes her already wide hips and thighs look better. I think the cow tits on the oni take away from the rest of the design. Or maybe the outfit doesn't do the tits justice? But damn do those skulls look good. I doubt I'll get either one of them though.

Finally added the Scarlet sisters to my fumo collection. They're adorable, as always. One thing I noticed is that they didn't come with the fumo tags that my older ones did. Did they stop adding them, did they forget with these preorders, or is AmiAmi's a different brand?

Got a little wooden Nanachi keychain. It's pretty cute. Smells good.

Last but not least is bunny girl Index. Not my first 1/4, but I can never get over how big that is. Starting to feel like I'll have to pick up the Mikoto to complete the Raildex bunny girl trio. In great condition for a preowned; couldn't see any damage. Black light shows some darker streaks in her hair on her right side, and her right shoulder looks a bit brighter, so it's not like she's completely unscathed.

All in all, it's a pretty good haul. Pretty expensive hobby though.

I'm going to cry, /a/. On the bright side it's a stealth daki so I can hide it when normalfags like my family are around, but at the same time the chink company has pretty much erased their entire storefront and I got screwed over hard core. The ToS said they'd cancel the order if the other side was lewd, but I didn't think it was that lewd, and they processed it just without the lewd side instead of canceling it. I guess the moral of the story is to never trust discount daki storefronts.

Well, shitty daki or not, it's relaxing to snuggle with my waifu. I feel my tension from the last few days leaving me just from this short hug while posting. I finally understand the appeal of dakis, /a/. I'll definitely get a full-sized one next time next time being in about 5-8 years instead of an economy daki, and I'll make sure to find an artist who can properly draw her in full resolution instead of relying on machine bloom optimizers. Can't seem to find anything on the now dead guide for custom wall scrolls. I went into my local post office and scanned a big fucking image of a good Shinobu poster that was on flimsy paper (came out to 450MB TIFF). Then I went into photoshop and cleaned it up. Anybody know where to get a custom cloth-like wall scroll like the official ones?

No it's fucked. The 8chan thumbnail gave her orange hair same with my Linux image viewer. But if I download it my she has a proper yellow haired thumbnail. Im just gonna go render again. I'm using Palememe.

There's your problem. Most image viewers don't handle different colour spaces so you'll have to convert it. But yeah you're right, Shinobu isn't supposed to have that orange-brown hair.

What was viewing it correctly on your system incidentally because I'm also on Palemoon and it shows up wrong there too.

The new ones I got came from this seller at Aliexpress. They come in many more sizes and have way better color accuracy. They are a bit reflective to light as seen in the images. Only really noticeable when you shine a beam of light onto it. I'm definitely going to get more from these guys. I think they are better than the ones provided from the seller above.
