>>Avdol dies in stupid manner
He sacrificed his life in order to protect Polnareff, because he was an idiot and felt for an obvious trap.
>>gets revived in plothole
I wouldn't actually call it a plot-hole, they explained that the bullet scraped the skin, not pierce the skull, and the dagger didn't hit any vital organs.
>>dies again in stupid manner
Again he dies, in order to protect his allies, ironically after giving a speech about how he would abandon them in order to defeat Dio, and that they should do the same.
>>Kakyoin has 0 character development
Agreed.
>>only scene where he is interesting is where he got replaced with some skinstealer
As >>785124 said, he had other good scenes as well, but I agree he wasn't as good as Polnareff, who I enjoyed more than JoJo.
>>dies in some cheap manner that moves the plot forward
It was meant to show how powerful and dangerous Dio is, if you want cheap deaths, just wait for Part 5.
>>Joseph could instantly kill Dio with his hamon techniques or combination of Hermit Purple and Hamon
He tried several times, and Dio still defeated him.
>>decides to just run around and scream names
He was trying to figure out what Kakyoin meant by destroying the clock, and how to defeat Dio(tried using Hamon and Hermit Purple in order to guard himself from Dio's close range attacks)
>>Jotaro survives the impossible like 20 daggers stuck in his body and stopping his own heart and reviving himself
There weren't all that many daggers, and he had books to protect him from most of them, the hearth thing was a bit silly, but acceptable for a Shounen protagonist to do.
>>Dio's stand stops time and Jotaro somehow is able to do the same
Agreed, Araki pulled that one out of his ass, and just saying, "they are the same type of stands" won't cut it.
>>both of them can fly without any explanation
I think that was just a poor translation from the manga. There is usually a difference between manga time and real time, and not just with JoJo, where characters can give an entire speech in one second, while falling, but when translating to anime, it seems as if the character is falling for a solid five minutes, from the second floor of a building. Also see Dio's speeches while he stopped time for just seconds. I think in the manga they were jumping around, and in the OVA they weren't flying just jumping around.
>>Polnareff is missing for the duration of that fight until he jumps for 10 seconds doing a useless attack and then is sidelaned for the rest of fight
He and JoJo were trying to execute a pincher attack, something Dio commented and knew about.
>>Jotaro defeats Dio in some Deus Ex Machina manner bullshit and claims he only did it because Dio pissed him off and not to avenge his grandfather or his dead friends or even to save his mother.
Agreed.
>>Joseph gets revived without explanation how he didnt become a vampire from Dio's blood
He probably used Hamon to purify the blood.
>>ending scene is Joseph, Polnareff and Jotaro laughing and saying the entire journey was lots of fun completely forgetting about the deaths of innocent people and their friends and personal trauma like Polnareff episode with his zombie sister and zombie Avdol
Bitiching this much about a light-hearted ending, would you rather end the manga with them at the cemetery crying and saying how awful this journey was?
>>Jotaro in plane looks at picture of the old group and instead of tearing up or feeling sad he smiles like Dio.
He was probably thinking about the good times, instead of bad times, plus he knew that he just saved his mother's life so yeah, mission accomplished. Also what do you mean, smiled like Dio?
If you really want to bitch about things how about these:
>how come there was no scene in which Joseph tried to teach Jotaro Hamon, in order to defeat Dio the vampire?
>how come Dio never used any of his vampiric powers(instant freezing or laser eyes) in battle?
>how come Joseph didn't use Hamon in order to cheat defeat Darby at the water-coin game
>how come Holly get "cured" from her Stand, but Joseph, Jotaro, Josuke and Giorno kept theirs, even when Josuke was as sick and would have died the same way as Holly, so you can't give the "strong will" excuse?
>how come Jolyne didn't get a Stand at birth and instead had to touch the arrow?
>how did Jonathan Dio acquiring a stand, make all his descendants(besides Jolyne) acquire a stand, when it's alien bacteria that gives you a stand, and not spiritual mumbo-jumbo?.
