>. Wanting studios to be slaves to the source material with no creative input instead of trying to make a good book into good anime is how you get the bland 20 minute LN advertisement shows.
I am sorry Mr. Telepath, but please tell me where I said that a studio should be a slave to the source material.
I only want them to have respect for the source material, and don't make an original out of another persons work.
There's a good reason why production committees don't like to trust studios with originals.
>The designs are almost entirely identical to Mishima's crappy art
You should vists an optician. From the boob plate, the worse colors, to the simplification of allmost all clothes.
The anime designs are far worse than the LN designs.
>and all the changes to the story were either direct improvements or trimming down of things that weren't very interesting to see animated.
Cuting out the entire adventurer group around Dust, and Wiz's introduction was a terrible idea. They also cut the Rookie Killer, and important forshadowing.
The worst thing was all the stuff around Dust's group which was mising, Axel just felt empty compared to it's LN version.
>LN authors aren't exactly top tier writers
Neither are anime writers. Actually in most cases anime writers are far worse than LN writers.
There's no reason to work as a lowly paid anime writer, when you have the talent to make it in other Otaku fields.
>The only change in the anime that was questionable was the Hans fight which it doesn't make any sense since they kept Aqua establishing that being dissolved means you can't be resurrected.
You ignore that Kazuma acted out of character during the episode, instead of being a coward he acted like the stereotypical LN hero. He decided to sacrifice himself to beat the enemy and did this without the slighest bit of hesitation.
There was also the entire "power of my believers" scene with Aqua, which was cringe worthy.
Perhaps you consider "POWER OF FEELINGS" solves problems high quality writing, but personally I can't stand it.
The anime staff decided to turn Kono Suba for the final episode into the exact same LN trash it was supposed to make fun of.
> trying to make a good book into good anime is how you get the bland 20 minute LN advertisement shows.
Bland LN adaptions have nothing to do with being close to the source material. We get bland LN adaptions, because many studios suck.
This is evident because originals are often worse than said 20 minute bland LN advertisments.
>You're an idiot.
Perhaps you shouldn't call other people idiots, when you can't even take the time to read their posts properly.
And deduce a different meaning out of their posts than what was written.
