Well, was a nice year but could be better. Most of the shows are really good but lost the chance to be really great with exception of Kemono Friends. The best example of this is Sakura Quest: this is good anime with excellent moments but sometimes become boring.
But something looks ready scaring looks some anime was made with a REALLY short budget.

MMXVII started strong, but by the end of Autumn/'17, I was down to 9 shows-but was re-watching of around 16 older series that i'd wanted to re-watch.
Not the best year of the '010s, But enough to keep me interested, if a little pickier. I'm not mentioning any series in particular though. I have to save material for my annual recap elsewhere. I still haven't picked an AOTY yet, but Classicaloid (both seasons), Ballroom Y Yokoso, Gabriel Dropout, and a few other series are in the running.
Other series considered as well. It was bonus points to have "Isekai" in your show's title.
