I just finished episode 12 of this piece of garbage, and it is BEGGING to be dropped. Some spoilers to follow
In all my life, in all the trash i managed to endure and kept watching, i've never seen an anime that is as bad as this. The characters are awful as many of you are probably aware of, the story doesn't make any fucking sense and it tries WAY too hard to be 2deep4you, it's so wordy it puts the tatami galaxy to shame but it has no 'meat' at all in the dialogues, and i could keep going like this for 50 paragraphs.
The MC especially is a super annoying pussy, in his big confession where he tells the others he killed the girl, all he did was fucking ignore her. It could've been much more intresting. They even went as far as to explain how Altair is a second character, so maybe he could have made the original and the girl that killed herself really plagiarized it like she was being accused of. Then he tells her something mean, maybe to literally kill herself and then she does, and that is real fucking guilt. Not this half-assed excuse of an immature child just for the sake of the plot. But nope, that would be intresting, better have an asperger retard that draw the japanese equivalent of giant ponies farting from deviantart.
There were some brief moments of relief with the smiley purple haired girl but even that faded pretty quickly. For a character that was supposed to be entirely based on words and cunning they sure fucked that up, in some moments i unironically expected her to say "Wanna know how i got these scars?" or "trolled! xd". She's badly written and it shows, especially when the other characters bait way too easily and everything comes of as forced and the whole dialogue becomes something from the uncanny valley.
There's also moments where things seem to be happening but it quickly goes back to blueballing and pointless plot lines, like when the magical girl dies or the red-haired woman gets pierced. There's no character development, only cringeworthy lines alternating to a deux ex machina. DEM is especially evident when the story is full of plot holes. What a mess... anyway, now they basically announced an upcoming tournament arc. Does it get better, or even so bad it becomes good, or is it just more of the same pretentious bullshit with no content and forced interactions?
