Late as fuck thread for an anime probably only a few people care about.

I'm not sure if this is good or not, it feels like I'm watching cutscenes for a beat'em up game that doesn't concern itself with the story. Yet I am enjoying it. And although I recognize the heroes, I haven't even watched any of their series.

The MC is annoying, the animation is fluid enough, the characters and their untransformed designs are corny as fuck (Gatchaman wears a tie over a sweater), and I don't know what else to say to convince you to watch this.

This is actually my sleeper hit of the season. A lot of people have no idea who Tatsunoko heroes are or just write this show off for being 3D, but I'm enjoying it the most out of anything I'm currently watching which admittedly isn't a huge number of shows this season, but still.

Yeah, Emi's an emo little shit who's constantly making bad decisions, but the animation is great for 3D, the heroes have good chemistry, and the villains are interesting.

I've seen some but not all of the original shows. You don't need to know a whole lot about them to understand Infini-T though. It tells you all the important bits about the characters anyway.

I actually agree with all this as my opinion of the show. Emi is a downer and I kind of wish she was a different character than what we've been given. It's good even if you don't know the series the main guys come from. I'm only really familiar with Casshern and I've seen the other characters in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and the story is still easy to follow.

If there is one minor thing I dislike about it is the use of flashback style. I would have preferred they'd stick with 3D instead of going 2D. They could even not animate that part in 3D and just have creative camera pans and shadow parts of unimportant people because it's clear they put effort into the main cast and animation and were tight on budget when they got to those parts. The 2D parts are clearly of much lower quality than they should be, even by still frame 2D standards. Slightly distracting but not a deal breaker.

Other than that, the show is fine. It probably won't puss out like many crossovers since they all come from the same company to have a character die. Maybe not but I'm not disappointed in the slightest so far.

You aint kidding. The show would be so much more enjoyable with out the female Squall cranked up to 11.

Ive only watched the first two episodes so far and its pretty enjoyable. I watched some of the original show when I was younger so this is a fun crossover, the only character I didnt recognize was Hurricane Polymar. I watched the hell out of Tekkaman Blade (although the designs are the original 70s version) and the Casshan Robot Hunter OVAs, and Gatchaman I've seen sporadic episodes from fan subbed VHS tapes. Good stuff OP, I wouldve missed this if you hadn't mentioned it.

I watched the first 2 episodes. It was way better than I expected. I don't know any of the characters at all or what they are even from. However, it wasn't enough to keep my interests and I've already got enough this season to watch without this. Put on to the eternal backlog.
