The first two? episodes weren't bad and the OP was quite good. I liked the art at times and the character designs were nice. These points duped me into watching the whole thing, thinking it could get good any episode, any moment now.
But no. Nothing could redeem it. The "twist" was retarded and came out of nowhere. None of the plot connected, there were holes everywhere, and yet all I remember is being bored of exposition dumps trying to make sense of the disjointed mess. During all this the anime did it's utmost to project a sense that it had things under control and it would all be worthwhile. These conflicting impressions played on my mind, disorienting me.
And all that coalesced into Episode 11, which broke my mind into enjoying myself for a moment when all the retardation came tumbling in like a mad circus house. I swear someone ran off with the rest of the budget and left the team to deal with the mess he created. It was obvious they were making it up as they went on.
I was one of the anons who insisted you all download the episode and witness it yourselves because I couldn't explain what I had just seen. I remember being told that nobody would download it by me raving like a faggot, but I really couldn't help myself. I'm glad we got through to someone. Episode 11 needs to be remembered.

No.765787

>arguing that nude is sexier than underwear
You're not giving this show enough credit, the argument was deeper than that. The MC was saying that nudity involves a sense of giving oneself over to someone else, which is important in little sister stories. The artist was saying that the beauty of lingerie was more important. It wasn't just a simple X is better than Y in all circumstances.
No.765796
>>765787
It kind of was though. That argument was made at the start but it quickly devolved into a pure nude vs underwear argument, especially when ketsu-sensei chimed in, and later on when Slutikou was arguing with her she basically argued she can't appreciate the nude form. In the end they wrapped it up with MC learning to appreciate pantsu and a vague sense of "now everyone's happy" but that's bullshit. The commentary on how underwear is superior to nudity has been made many times before by masters of ecchi and it's a well known fact amongst patrician otakus, myself and several other Anons included.
Also can you actually publish a manga with full frontal nudity like that?

Some thing bothers me about this anime, I really love the characters as how they are, and all the dynamic between them is good as well, the traits are also well balanced, but is this manga ...... Really fictional? The book Myaa read really reminded me of "Rakudai Kishi No Yutan" a lot.
It hit harder when Myaa pointed out, how story is not following the generic pattern of romance, action, or a particular genre, but instead it's more like mythology and I could not help but draw connection to Rakudai regarding how well written the love story and comedy is along side the action.

I think that amazingly, this has become the most yuri anime this season. Even though the two female leads want the male MC. This anime is anything but generic at that makes it amazing. It's a slice of life that feels like a drama and a comedy... and I don't know if I should say this, but the female characters feel realistic, >>766337 with the exception of the accountant.

I think it's the meta effect that makes it good. The creators are creating based on what they know.

This is Japan we are talking about. There are girls who are 'perverts' in a way that they aren't in the west. Especially manga artists.
Also girls like Nayu do exist. Although her best friend's type is more common. MC is actually more unrealistic in not wanting to fuck Nayu because he feels inferior to her when it comes to work... even when she is literally begging for it.

MC actually has standards and won't go for any slut that crosses his path. Why is that such a problem?

I'm pretty stoked I stuck around for this show since it turned out not to be shit and actually be good. That's even after they ruined accountant-tan this episode by revealing that she is actually a disgusting pig.
Anyway, so MC started out with a little brother, who was actually a little sister, who is now actually not a sister at all, ero-manga style twist. I guess since he doesn't actually want to fuck her it doesn't matter regardless.

>digustingly slutty
Thats just how she is. There might be some dramatic reason for it in her past, like a coping mechanism for past trauma or something. It probably will not come up in this adaptation. Anyways, the first time she did it, it was different and interesting. With her doing it every time she appears its just repulsive. I dont think she could do or say anything at this point to make up for how bad she is.
>>767991
>she is actually a disgusting pig.
That only makes her better. At this point the story couldn't do anything to ruin her. In fact, she was embarrassed to show the filth she lived in but Chihiro is so nice she wouldn't blackmail Ashley with it. In return she keeps quiet about the brother act. Theres an expression that goes something like "the real pig likes being cleaned" that is applicable here.

No.773048
I didn't like it a whole lot, but it wasn't bad. Would like to see an S2 since about every damn plotline is set to wrap up in a would-be second season, but then again it really wasn't the plot that made this any good, rather the idle chats and tabletop games. Had it been a little bit better, it could've passed for one of those anime that give you the

Pretty average show indeed but I do agree with >>773005 as the characters grew on me also. There was some sort of depth to them that I didn't expect from this kind of show.
Real shit ending though. I enjoyed the show but not enough to want a second season or to fucking read the manga (or whatever the source is).
Why did they spend so much time on board games? Are they advertising those too? I didn't mind the advertising for booze and Nippon traveling but this was too much. They could have put some of the time they killed with boardgames to better use developing side-characters, for example. Today's game was particularly pointless and a waste of precious season finale minutes.
No.773829

That last game was more like a reference for writers or people working at any arts to feel how the "life of an artist" goes but using a board game as a medium to make it less boring.
I think I would have dropped this if it wasn't because I'm a writer-fag and it panders to me in so many levels. The series was mediocre at best but I couldn't help it and feel somehow related with some stuff on it.

I likes it this show, it's like a good alcohol, or that is what I think author was going for, a little bit of this, a little bit of that, so end product will look good, I mean, I just enjoyed the show a lot, I genuinely liked it, it's not like Oreimo, which I just had to watch because others did, only to realise that it was cancer, specially MC's choice, but I have literally no regrets after I finally watched this anime, it was simply great.

I liked parts of this, but it was hovering over the border of worth/not worth watching. Despite the dangling plot threads, the last two episodes were a good way to end the season, especially with the final boardgame as a commentary on the writers' careers and personalities over the course of the anime. The reveal of the source of the protagonist's motivation and pride made sense to me. I didn't like Nayuta or Miyako, something's really 3DPD about them. (I've met people resembling Nayuta in real life before, shit's annoying.) On the other hand Chihiro as a character is lovely, the tsundere imouto is generic but cute, and Ashley and Kaiko do their jobs as background characters very well.
