They're the subs ripped directly from Crunchyroll, and they're not really very good. Even ignoring the fact that they won't subtitle OPs and EDs, they generally translate "the vague feeling" of the sentence. It's not really that bad, unless you actually know enough Japanese to pick up on it. But you don't need to know much Japanese at all to pick up on it. In fact, while watching "Baby Steps," they mistranslated tennis terms that were being spoken in English, and are used around the world, so they would "make more sense" instead of translating the sentences to fit the English words.
tl;dr: They're low-effort subs from a corporate machine.

All right, finished the first episode. Seems okay-ish, could go good, bad, or not change at all. one one hand I'm annoyed that they lets them win their first race while being in last place and wrote it off as, "oh they're that good," For the uninitiated, for that to happen in real life everyone else would have to FUCK UP BADLY but at the same time, I just watched Baby Steps recently and I don't think I could take another super-realistic sports anime. But if they don't pull out silly special moves and shit, I see no way to make these matches exciting when being behind will mean literally nothing. However, ending the episode with both cute girl protagonists knocking each other the fuck out definitely peaked my interest.

And as I rarely watch seasonal anime, even because this year is fucking horrible, I download from a random alternative that has a good BDRip version. Most of them are not actually bad. I like downloading from small groups since they usually put a lot of effort on it.

It seems the whole anime is going to be focusing on pairs and how they resolve their relationship problems. I just realized the race we saw in episode one is a huge spoiler for the series since every episode is a flashback to before the race. The race was actually pretty good. Our two main characters performed as usual, but thanks to that other cunt they escaped the worst girl title.

Well thats pretty much a wrap. The race as a race was crap, 150km in 10 minutes or so but its not about racing to begin with. Main girls cannot even be part of a good story. They could have punched each other out, realize they race not for the coach's dick but for each other, gotten back on their bikes and finished last. Everyone else would have been worried they crashed again but cheered at seeing them finish the race and hug each other. When the coach got dumped instead of going right back to episode one with fighting over his dick they could have said "coach will never understand girls" and laughed.
But all of that crap is pretty average for this kind of story. I'm glad Mutsuki got to show off. Too bad the bike didn't get much fan service. Best girl list remain unchanged: Arisu, Kurosu, Mutsuki, Ai, Tsugumi.
