彼女は人間の里の大統領か！？
「人間ファーストのみを目指す」
一度は天下を治めたことのある者は、 発言のスケールもビッグだった。 普通の妖怪に言えないことを高らかに主張するその姿勢に、 人間の里が大いに湧き上がっているーー。
妖怪は勿論、 人間たちの目をも釘づけにしているのが、 長き眠りから覚めた聖人、 豊聡耳神子 （現在は仙人） だ。 為政者だったころのクセなのだろうか、 近頃の里の人間が直面している危機的状況について、 積極的に発言を始めたのだ。
「自分が幻想郷の為政者として選ばれないのは、 組織的不正があったからだ！ これからは私が大統領として人間たちをより良い未来へと導く！」
知っての通り、 人間の里に自治はあっても政治は存在しない。 それが里の人間の壊滅的な不幸をもたらしているという。 人間と妖怪の関係は、 かつてない新たな局面を迎えている。
Is she to be the president of the human village!?
"Aim for humans first"
Having once ruled the country, the scale of her statements was big, too. Asserting things you can't say to an ordinary youkai in a clear and loud voice; that stance has the human village in a great uproar.
The one who is holding the attention of not only the youkai, but also humans, is the saint who just woke up from a long sleep, Toyosatomimi no Miko (current occupation: hermit). It may be because of her past as a ruler, but in response to the critical state of affairs the villagers are recently facing, she proactively started her campaing.
"That I wasn't elected as Gensoukyou's stateswoman was because I met systematical injustice! From this day on, I will lead the humans towards a brighter future as the president!"
As you know, while the human village has self-governance, it has no politics. She claims that this will bring a devastating disaster to the villagers. The relationship between humans and youkai is heading towards uncovered ground.
止まらない神子旋風！
「再び人間を偉大に！」
大統領就任宣言の 豊聡耳神子に対する賛否の渦が、 大きなうねりとなって幻想郷全土を巻き込んでいる。 いちいち発言が渦激だが、 的を射た部分があることも否定できないため刺激は強い。 ここではそのいくつかを紹介しよう。
「人間は、 妖怪の不法移民に職を奪われている」
「人間の里の周囲に、 高い壁を作ってよろう。 そして費用は妖怪関係者持ちにさせるんだ。」
「里の外やってくる妖怪には、 ロクなのがいない。 ヤツらは山のように問題を抱えて入ってくるんだ。 薬物とか、 病気とか、 ×××もいるぞ。 時々はまともな奴も居るかもしれないが、 そんなのはまれだ。」
確かに、 幻想郷が今現在直面している人間の里問題はかなり深刻だ。 妖怪の干渉が長く続くと、 里から長寿の人間が居なくなってしまうかも知れない。 この仙人なら現状を変えてくる、 そう思わせられる者は多いのではなかろうか。
Unstoppable Miko-whirlwind! (or: Can't stump the Miko!)
"Make humans great again!"
Toyosatomimi no Miko's presidential inauguration speech faces a whirlpool of mixed reactions, and has the attention of all of Gensoukyou. Her speech is hard to follow, but has high energy because there are some points that hit their mark. Here are some of them.
"The illegal immigrant youkai take the humans' jobs."
"I will build a great wall around the human village. And I will have the youkai pay for that wall."
"When the youkai send their people, they're not sending their best. They're sending youkai that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing diseases. They're ****sts. And some, I assume, are good youkai."
Surely, the human village problems Gensoukyou faces are very serious. If the youkai interference lasts for long, there might soon not be long-lived humans left. It seems there are many who think this hermit could change that.
