Apparently the creator did give some "hints", but yeah it was blatantly a "2deep4u" answer.
>Translated comment (partial):
"I decided I should at least give a hint: In trying to understand this story, I think it will clear things up a bit if you watch while trying to see which events are real and which are imagined. Dreams and illusions are formed based on reality. It's also good idea to compare the items or events from reality with the events from the world of the subconscious.
Please note that I'm not planning on any making-of or commentary video, so I can't give any clear answer about the events or the ending of s work. I encourage you to mull it over."
Notes
27:16 - 27:19 This line can be translated in one of three ways: "Please, come back," "Please, go back," or "Please, turn it back." Any one choice alone may not allow the interpretation intended by Harumao.
>It uses DREAM LOGIC.
>What about those butterflies
Apparently one person says blue butterflies in japan means "Death and Rebirth". Devil Summoner and Persona likes using them for the half dead god.
That was my problem with Private U, the only reason everything was a mystery was because no one would finish saying what happen. I think they would call that "artificial suspense" or something since all the characters know damn well whats going on, but the audience is given an unfair advantage.
When I originally watched it I came up with 3 conclusions.
>Surprised, they where in purgatory the entire time!
Purgatory is probably one the most abused twist ending in little short stories like these, almost as much as "it was all a dying dream".Then again, the Komeiji sisters are basically demons from former hell, so its not hard to think they have a door to purgatory in their mansion. Speaking of dreams.
>Its all a dream.
Subconscious, dreams, they work the same way right? This is the only way Satori and Koishi can talk. Inside this desert dream world, and everything is a metaphor for their strained relationship. Koishi talks to Satori in her sleep maybe?
>Okuu blew up the world, but some how made sure her owners where unharmed.
The whole video I was waiting for this, but nothing really supports this. Which is pretty much my major complaint. Its one thing to have "mystery", its another things to just blatantly not explain/show important plot details. Somre are just simple questions too like,
>Can Komeiji sisters not fly now? Do they not have all their powers? Did they ever have all their powers or was this like an alternate dimension or something.
>Is this earth? Is it Gensokyo? Why are only the left? Are they humans now or are they still hell demons?
Although its probably unfair to compare Orbital rabbit and Private Utopia, but the first didn't so many things right. Like, for example, a clearly defined goals the characters work towards to complete it. While the other video was just random events that happen to them.

not the same anon but
Orbital Rabbit basically was
>The moon sucks, its basically 1984, lets leave.
>You aren't going to betray me are you?
>Udonge please.
Pretty straight forward story about a "fragile" alliance. The attention to details with the face animations where amazing.
"Teach Me, Reimu!" is pretty decent. As good but its prettty Comfy and funny.
