i don't think a japanese translation for undertale is available. I haven't seen any undertale-related otomads on NND so far (but I haven't been to nicovideo in a week or so), but you can try searching something like "undertale YTPMV" on youtube. I avoid ytpmvs because many use mlp samples, and I prefer the gachimuchi/anime samples that the japs tend to use.

aren't all of the videos hosted on nicovideo in flv? I downloaded something with youtube-dl and it was an mp4, which I've never seen before; is this correct, or is the downloader encoding the videos to another format?

what do you guys use to download videos on nicovideo? The only other thing that I've had work for me was freemake (which is a piece of shit).

The flv file is the low resolution video, mp4 is hq. On nicovideo, when the site is busy, they lower the quality to free users. For downloading the hq file, you have to copy the page link when the site is not busy.
