The Democratic U.S. senator from Minnesota wants to skyrocket the number of refugees taken in every year from President Trump’s cap of 18,000 to the Obama-era level of at least 110,000, Breitbart reported.

While Minneapolis has resettled thousands of refugees since 2009, almost none live in Marcy-Holmes, where Klobuchar owns a home with her husband.

Nearly 85 percent of all residents in Klobuchar’s neighborhood are native-born American citizens and of the less than ten percent of foreign-born residents, half arrived from China, India, Korea, Germany, Thailand, and Malaysia — countries from where only five refugees have been resettled in Minnesota in the last decade and none of whom have been resettled in Minneapolis much less Klobuchar’s neighborhood.

Wikileaks editor Kristin Hrafnsson was temporarily barred from the extradition hearing for publisher Julian Assange, who was reportedly handcuffed 11 times, stripped twice, and robbed of his legal papers after the first court day.

Hrafnsson was pulled out of the crowd as he attempted to enter the public gallery of Woolwich Crown Court on Tuesday morning, he told RT, after someone shouted “Where is the WikiLeaks editor?”

Explaining that he was given “no grounds” for the order and was unable to locate the head of the court to get an answer, he recorded and released a statement denouncing his exclusion from the supposedly-public proceedings as “outrageous” and calling on the public to “demand some answers — because I’m not getting any.”

Assange’s father John Shipton also walked out in solidarity, while the publisher’s lawyer Gareth Pierce worked to get Hrafnsson permission to enter. He was finally approached and told “a misunderstanding had occurred,” given a verbal apology and allowed to enter the public gallery, but his exclusion was never explained. Hrafnsson has demanded an explanation in writing and a formal apology. The WikiLeaks editor was equally disgusted by the treatment of Assange himself, who was — according to his lawyer — handcuffed 11 times, stripped twice, and deprived of his legal papers following the conclusion of the first day of hearings. “How can anybody prepare for a trial when he is treated in this manner?” Hrafnsson asked, calling the UK’s handling of its high-profile prisoner “highly abusive.”

This is not a thing you should expect in a civilized country where human rights concerns are highlighted.

Hrafnsson is not optimistic about Assange’s future, noting that the “English court is being misled by Americans who are trying to abuse the process of extradition by mere fabrications.” The cramped quarters — just 12 or 13 seats in the public gallery, while the legions of protesters are kept outside the court compound “for no apparent reason” — are “totally inadequate for a trial of this importance,” he said, observing that despite London’s claims, the hearing is “not being held in public.”

Assange is facing extradition to the US, where he could be sentenced to 175 years in prison on a bundle of espionage and hacking charges stemming from the 2010 release by WikiLeaks of classified Department of Defense files that have come to be known as the Afghan and Iraq War Logs. The US has continued to argue that the disclosures put political dissidents and journalists in danger, but no names of “victims” or other proof have been supplied to back up that assertion.

The items were found by police in a picturesque coastal town in Madeira, a Portuguese island off the coast of Morocco that’s popular with tourists and best known for being the birthplace of soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. The passport and wallet were found on Aug. 5, 2017, some three months before Mifsud disappeared from public view and six months after he was questioned by FBI officers investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Mifsud reportedly was in fear for his life after the election of Donald Trump. He is a key player in the Russiagate scandal to spy on and take down Donald Trump by the Obama administration and the deep state.

Trump says Russian interference ‘highly exaggerated’, blames Adam Schiff for leaking report

President Donald Trump has called reports that Russia is interfering with the 2020 election “highly exaggerated,” and blamed the rumor on House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff.

The specter of ‘Russian interference’ raised its head again last week, when the Washington Post ran an article claiming the Kremlin is interfering in the upcoming presidential election on behalf of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, with the ultimate goal of getting Trump re-elected. The story provided no specifics on what form the supposed interference took, but claimed that Sanders and Trump had both been briefed on the threat.

“Intelligence never told me,” Trump told reporters on Tuesday at a press conference held during his state visit to India. “What I’m reading,” he continued, is that “they went to see Bernie and they told Bernie.”

While Sanders responded to the story by denying receiving Russian assistance, and warning Russian President Vladimir Putin to “stay out of US elections,” Trump took a different approach.

Calling the story “highly exaggerated,” Trump accused House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff of leaking it to the media, following a closed-doors briefing on Capitol Hill. Schiff, of course, was one of the principal architects of the impeachment effort against Trump, and one of Washington’s loudest proponents of the “Russian collusion” conspiracy theory.

“Schiff leaked it,” Trump said on Tuesday. “Bernie is probably winning… and maybe they don’t want him. So they put out a thing that Russia’s backing him. This is what they do. I’ve gone through it for a long time. I get it. I get the game better than anybody.

“They ought to stop the leaking,” Trump continued. “I can imagine that people are going to go after them and find out what’s happening,” he added, without elaborating further.

“I want no help from any country and I haven’t been given help from any country,” Trump stated.

The president has previously described Adam Schiff as “the biggest leaker in Washington,” and Tuesday’s press conference was not the first time he has accused the California Democrat of being behind the Sanders/Russia story. On Sunday, he warned that Schiff should “stop leaking classified information or, even worse, made up information, to the Fake News Media.”

Between anonymously sourced stories of Russian interference and “communist” and “Nazi” smears, Sanders is receiving similar treatment in the media as Trump did in 2016. Like Trump’s, Sanders’ popularity remains mostly undented by the negative coverage, and the socialist senator is widely considered the clear frontrunner for the Democratic nomination, topping nationwide polls ahead of next week’s ‘Super Tuesday’ primary showdown.
