Maybe it's just me, but I don't have the attention span for turn-based RPG games (that's why Super Paper Mario is my favourite in the series, along with the story). I see this video more from a "satirical" perspective.
I mean, killing a baddie in one millisecond compared to these "time-wasting commands and health bars" is always going to be more satisfying.
I never knew what the appeal was, but my RPG games need a "sense of motion" to get my attention. Maybe that's why hack-and-slash got a resurgence in popularity in recent years.

Not that I wanna bring off-topic shit to this board, but while I don't blame people on the site for talking about everything that's going on IRL, the way they handled it was pretty stupid & it doesn't surprise me that SSF1991 left the place despite being one of the biggest pieces of the site.
Not that I ever relied on the site much, TSSZ was one of the last vestiges of old Sonic fan sites that came from the late-90s & lasted the entire time. I know SonicRetro, SOAH are still around but how many other sites from that era are still active? Can't be that many left.

Yeah, it's sad. I did rely on them a bit, they usually reported on most things and did it pretty fast, and overall it was all very accessible. Well, maybe not so much as of late where they started to use really clickbaity titles on twitter and giving no real information to redirect all traffic to their site. That was jewish. But I always liked that they seemed to try hard to give fans content. They usually went to all the conventions and panels and livestreamed them even when there was no official livestream, they did their interviews and stuff, etc

In theory we should get that famed article this Thursday. Also it seems there was a leak for upcoming PS5 games including games that are to come out 12+ months from now like the 30th anniversary Sonic game would, and there was no mention of anything Sonic. Some people were speculating that Sega got bought by another publisher, which I fucking hope it not to be the case.
Other than that it's just a little bit over 3 weeks for Sonic's birthday! I hope things go well for the blue porcupine's day and things are a bit less fucked up than they are now. In theory it should coincide with a Sega livestream on one of the online gaming events that popped up after the cancellation of literally everything else, hope that's also good.
