Grandfather was a level three untrasonic rail tester for the government testing railways on military bases and government projects. He asked if he could go for a drive to the lake and he started to tell me in 1958 he worked on a “ underground city” under the lake. He was ordered under punishment of death not to reveal anything about his work. He said the religious order that built the building was just a cover up and it was a government controlled facility. He said it had underground trains connecting three main areas he never saw the finished work but in 1963 five years later he was met at his job by government officials and flown by government back to Baldwin Airport and asked to test more rail. What he saw made him afraid to say anything for fifty years. He said they were cities populated by government agencies and scientists. He said it wasn’t for nuclear war it was more like a research facility. It looked like farms housing and workplaces. When he had completed his work he was paid a years salary and told if he spoke of the facility he would be killed.
When we got to the civic centre he started pointing out all sorts of strange things about the building and surrounding complex odd unexplainable features that convinced me he was telling the truth. When he died we found a suit case full of old fashioned looking government photo identification cards stating they were government property. We called the phone number and they answered they said they would send someone to pick them up.
two plainclothes men were there in less than an hour. They asked multiple times if there’d been any pictures or films. They spoke cryptically over the cell phone and left without giving any recipes or documentation of their visit.
