Hey /x/. The past couple of days I've been having "experiences." Last night I decided to do an EVP session to find out if someone (or something) was present. I recorded a very good EVP but to be honest I'm not sure what it is. Do you guys have any ideas? If there's interest I can tell you what led up to this recording. After asking if anyone was there I started the recorder and left the room. The recorder ran for roughly 9 minutes (I clipped the audio for you) and no one was in the room. It was roughly 3:45 AM and there were no natural sounds I can chalk this up to.

What do you think? Best to listen with headphones or good speakers!

I can hear something but it's very faint and doesn't sound like words being spoken to me. I'm not an expert on EVP, but is it possible that you accidentally recorded some background noise? Even in the middle of the night it's difficult to find perfect silence, and depending on how sensitive the recorder is, it might have captured distant sounds or small vibrations in the air. Just an idea.

If I were you, I would try to repeat the experiment in other rooms and then in the same room but without asking any questions beforehand, so I would have something to compare this recording to.

Anyway, I'm definitely interested to hear what happened that caused you to do an EVP session.
