I am wondering if there is anybody out there who can help answer this for me.

I have had this memory for as long as I can remember having it.

The memory is me eating food with my grandmother. While I am eating, I suddenly feel like I cannot breathe. I run towards the bathroom and look into the mirror. I fall down gasping for air and completely black out.

I do not know where it came from. I kept believing that it was a dream but I don't remember when I had this dream I just always remember having this memory.

If it was a dream I must've been very young but I remember it so clearly I don't understand how I would remember it and why only remember this dream.

It also doesn't make sense since in the dream I was fairly old - if this was a dream and I had it when I was very young, why was I an adult in the dream?

I hope someone can help me figure out what this memory of mine. Thank you.

Well if you're eating food with your Grandma, but you're old then it's clearly a dream. Or some amazing tech is going to be coming soon.

I remember having a dream where a close family friend had a monster truck (but had a regular truck cab). He drove it down the street with me and my dad in it and lost control and drove into the 7/11 down the road.

I think it's just how my head rationalized a scar scar he had between his eye brows and a black truck canopy he had by the front stairs of his house.

It could be a memory of a different life. I've had a similar memory as long as I can remember. I'm eating at a fine seafood restaurant with my fiancee with a seat carefully chosen where I can watch the door. Then a group of people walk in and I know they mean danger. I tell my fiancee to leave through the kitchen and I head into the men's room. The walk there makes it so I cross in front of the dangerous people's line of sight and I know they'll follow me. I figure that ifi pretend not to notice them, close the door to a stall and hide in a stall with a slightly ajar door I might be able to slip past whoever follows in and escape. They follow too fast and immediately corner me in a stall and stab me several times. I remember the first strike hurting like nothing else, and becoming numb and heavy with each hit after, then seeing my body from above.

I didn't realize I shouldn't have a memory like that until I was older. No idea how it stuck around so long.

Sorry I didn’t specify how old - I believe I was around 20-30 (I’m 20 right now)

Also my grandma is still alive.

Interesting… so you have one as well. I wonder what it means?

Go to your grandmother and ask if something happened when staying with her. Don't be direct at first but if she says yes and doesn't bring that specific incident up ask about it.

and pray you're not your reincarnated grandfather, or something like that.

She has really bad dimensia/Alzheimer’s. Would be impossible to have a conversation with her.

Having the capacity to remember a bit of past life probably doesn't really mean much. I've thought about this a lot and having them gives no special insight, or truth, or benefit. If you get wrapped up in who you used to be, you can't develop in your current life properly. So if this really is a past life memory, hold on to it for novelties sake, but don't let it influence you. Yolx where x is your number of reincarnations
