Is there an occult significance to nuclear weapons?

Fuck yes, there is.

"At one point, you stop believing in God and you start believing in power."

>the temperature at the core of the explosion is between 50 and 150 million degrees Fahrenheit

It still blows my mind how insanely destructive these things are.

Yes in a sense, there are ancient Indian texts in the mahabharata that speak of weapons that sound eerily similar, amongst other technology.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brahmastra

The Brahmastra is described as a weapon that creates a fireball capable of destroying the world, and is intended to be used as a last resort, never for combat. The after-effects sound exactly how an ancient civilization would describe a massive high-temperature explosion, but not quite a nuke. More like a MOAB.

The Brahmashirsha Astra is an even more powerful weapon. It is said to be capable of destroying gods, and can be invoked from any object, even grass. The weapon manifests the heads of Brahma and then causes what is essentially an ancient civilization's description of a nuke, with fallout that renders an area uninhabitable for twelve years.

The Brahmanda Astra is said to destroy the universe. Since they didn't have knowledge of space travel, this could either just be a planet killer that takes the Hindu mythological realms with it or an actual universe killer.

>Indian research lab recognized global scientific discoveries from WW2 to today that lined up with their own religious beliefs

>only connections are the cosmic dance and the invention of some of the Deva WMDs in the Sanskrit epics, such as nukes

>there is a theory that CERN's LHC can make dangerous black holes

Let the fridge horror sink in…

The occult significance is that atomic bombs had already been used thousands of years ago by the Indian gods. It's not occult in the sense of magical or paranormal, but it's a piece of world history that the West currently refuses to acknowledge, so you could say it's 'occult' (hidden).

The most fucked up thing about this is that:

A. The Ancient Aliens theory was true and an alien species already had this weapon, and we are only now catching up.

Or

B. We will be the first people to make planet destroying weapons and black hole cannons to fight space warfare.

I never even believed in black holes but I always thought that because humanity imagined it, one day we'd create them.
