I believe I just had an encounter with the paranormal… Could anyone care to explain this?
>mother passed away last year
>brother moved into the basement a few months ago, after losing his girlfriend & apartment
>was sitting down there with him earlier tonight, with the light off & with the TV going. a green candle was lit in the background
>we spoke about our mother for a little bit, & at one point I almost thought about her on the other side of the room, but it *almost* wasn't *my* thought
>about 15 minutes later the pull-string (as somewhat seen on the right of this picture) is almost… pulled… into the air towards the ceiling, & then let go, in a fast & loud manner.
>it doesn't dangle as one might expect it to afterwards, but it did dangle when I reenacted what had just happened
My brother had told me before about this pull-string acting in this strange demeanor, but I had never believed him. What do you think it could be, /x/? My brother said that it might be our mother trying to tell us that she's here (which I wonder in itself), but I really just don't know… Perhaps something more reasonable is to explain? The electricity, or something?
