Do you feel like the deeper you dive the harder it is to be around anyone?

The more I fill my head with ghouls and aliens and spells and crime scene photos the harder it is to talk to normal people

No one wants to hear about esoteric Christianity or your theory about the Zionist reptiod men or where you think Bigfoot is

So what so you do to refresh?

 No.39140

There's nothing wrong with talking about spooky stuff with normues but you have to ease into it. People that share their spiritual beliefs too openly are probably schizophrenic but definitely cringeworthy.

I have the same problem. I'm not into videogames, or football, I've never liked drinking and partying, I think girls are a waste of time, and watching television makes me want to lobotomise myself. I have a few friends but I feel like I have nothing in common with them. I just want to talk about alternative history, aliens, the hollow earth theory, the nature of reality, etc. Those are the kinds of things I'm passionate about, but I can't talk about them in real life. Sometimes I'm afraid that people will think I'm boring and have no interests because I have to hide my true interests from them.

>>39140

Yeah but what's the point? The whole time you'll just be trying your hardest to seem normal and not crazy. They won't be able to add anything to the conversation because their knowledge about the subject matter comes entirely from movies and maybe some documentary they watched a few years ago.

Pretty much this.

I fucking love talking about x-tier shit, I can discuss it all day, but I can also understand where they're coming from, I talked about it with everyone from hobos to respectable businessmen and it also makes me uncomfortable as fuck hearing it from others if they're just giving me a monologue instead of having a two-way conversation. Why? Because this is even more of a grey-area than politics, you need to have a high level of agreement with someone on one point before moving to the next, so you can't just randomly start off with the conclusion that aliens built the pyramids, when you haven't even agreed that it's weird for people so long ago to have built such magnificent structures with such a degree of sophistication.

Like, if someone out of nowhere starts talking to me about fairies or some shit and giving me a whole lecture about it without gauging my interest, it's just gonna feel weird. With my friends, I tell them right off the bat that I'm interested in all this shit so that they have some kind of context and don't think I'm weird when I talk about it, I also ask for their opinions on it and challenge them instead of giving them a lecture.

 No.39178

>>39155

The only reason it becomes a lecture is because there's no interest on their part to learn about it. I don't like being lectured and I don't like to lecture people.

 No.39212

Try supplementing your tastes with a more normal hobby. Go learn how your car works, normals love talking about cars. Or cook something interesting, there are people who will want to hear about that. Don't give up on your esoteric interests or anything, just pick up some additional mundane interests.

 No.39214

>>39212

I've thought about that, but I hate the idea of spending time doing something I don't enjoy just for the sake of having something to talk about with normies.

 No.39215

>>39212

Nah, there's no point in wasting time by talking about cars or something else that neither you nor conversation partner would be interested interested in. Besides that, you might start talking about cars and shit with someone when they in fact also love the same topics that you do, so you'd just be wasting everyone's time.

Ask: "What do you think?"

I have had the same issue but from my /tech/ side.

It's hard to stay near people I know have been influenced by mind control electromagnetic waves purposefully emitted from their botnet CPUs by unknown parties (most likely some variant of the jews).
