From what I can gather, the reasons tuplamancy is dangerous is that;
1) It's too easy to make the tupla sentient.
2) It's draining,
3) & the host's emotions can effect whether it dies and leaves the host damaged, or goes God mode, driving the host over the edge.
Hosting a tupla is a generally bad idea, health wise. That being said, has anyone attempted to host a tupla in a computer? Perhaps that could be safe, since;
1) Modern computers are far from sentience, the tupla wouldn't be sentient either.
2) Plug it into the wall, got all the power it needs.
3) See 1.
Perhaps with neural networks, primitive as they are currently, could sustain a tupla.
