Yes

Technically that's not a dinosaur.

 No.33807

Birds are the only living descendants. Many evolutionary biologists are starting to consider making birds a subset of reptiles and broadening it a bit. There are other animals likes sharks and alligators that coexisted with dinosaurs and have remained more or less the same, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a living velociraptor anywhere. This was kind of a useless question to be honest. The only answers you will get are:

>what you could have read on Wikipedia (what I just told you)

>a physically impossible theory with no evidence whatsoever (misinformation spread by idiots and people who like to hide things by method of diversion)

>word salad

actually, reptiles and dinosaurs are two different species, entirely, so classifying birds under reptiles would be incredibly wrong.

I thought that argument had been clarified decades ago. Guess not.

You don't know what "species" means, do you? And I didn't say they were reptiles, I said their living descendants were birds and birds as a group are starting to be considered an offshoot of reptiles, which as a group will be made broader.

You've managed to turn a thread about dinosaurs into a boring discussion between nerds. Congratulations.

I would love to see what the dinosaurs evolved into during those 65 million years. I wanna fuck their females.
