Lots of old haunted houses in the countryside and creepy woods where satanists years ago used to sacrifice cats to perform their rituals…

That tunnel looks way too small and way too out of place to be something you drive into.

>only spoop here is some ghost that haunts some street in ghetto part of town

My house also used to be haunted, but my grandma did some native American cleansing with sage or something on it and now the spook is gone. I was barely 6 when the spirit left, so I don't remember much of it, except the looming feeling of being watched that lasted until I was 9, when my grandma did another cleansing with sage.

 No.32503

There was this drainage pipe by my old house and we called it "old jew tunnel" because there was this homeless guy who would crawl through it, which was about a 4ft tall drainage pipe full of spiders, which is laid across a two lane highway with a large embankment. A state highway. So one of these days we kids see his coat floating down by the sealevelmost side of the drainage pipe; we see old jew's coat floating in "old jew tunnel". We laughed then, but sadly he was found near the coat and had drowned. So flash forward graduating middle school, high school, people talk about it through the years, and laugh at it. There have been car accidents around there, especially during times it has flooded in the area.

the devils tree

i dont think it is satanic but a void space well, it draws and wants to consume the souls of people. i am of the void and i have brought it people, i do not force them and the tree does not steal.

all who come to the tree must make the choice for themselves, I have brought many souls to the tree, at the brink of the void. Of these 5 souls have made the choice, to give themselves willingly to the tree. I do not know if the tree gifts me power as a reward or if the casting of their souls into the abyss merely produces a release of psychic energy. But i can tell you that with each soul that has gone to the tree my own power has grown, precognition, mind-control/influence, shared dreaming, astral projecting, and psychokinetic powers have grown enormously. I can now dissipate any cloud or grow and shrink it at will, my ability to influence others, tilt things to my favor and predict the future has exploded.

its weird to write this down but it really is true

A few km south of here is a train track which is said to have gotten an employee of the rail company killed via beheading and you can see his lantern at night when driving the road. The road itself is pretty spooky when driving at night.

sounds hot. but why would anyone want to drive a car down there? the thing's a fucking sewage drain. just look at the river underneath.

We have a "ghost light" that roams up and down the tracks of the town next to mine. Legend has been around since the 50's I think.

As usual, the stories vary from person to person, but the main idea was that a drunk man was decapitated by the train, and the light is his lantern swaying back and forth as he searches for his head.

Not really a spooky place in itself, but downtown from where I live there is a road with a lot of spooky cats. Took my dog walking down there, and we ended up being chased by three cats while one watched.

 No.37164

In between my town and the next town over there's an abandoned barn that Satanists use for rituals. Some guys I knew in High School discovered it while they were snowmobiling, and they said that it had a bunch of animal bones arranged in a pentagram, and some blood around it.

There's also a part of the woods on the edge of my town that my friends and I have aptly dubbed "the spooky woods". The last time a friend and I went there, we kept going in circles despite walking in different directions, and every time we'd wind up back at this bookshelf just sitting in the middle of a field, about a kilometre away from any road or main trail. We also found some tarps arranged so that they looked like they had bodies under them, and they smelled like rotten meat, but when we lifted them up there was nothing there. At one point we heard laughter all around us, and what sounded like an ice cream truck jingle (again, we were about a kilometre away from any main road, and this sound was close) it seemed to come from every direction around us at once. By the time we finally got out of there, I looked at the time and only about fifteen minutes had passed. We were in there for at least a couple of hours.

According to this old guy that lives on the very edge of town, bordering the spooky woods, that whole area is owned by "bad people" he wouldn't specify who, though. I assume he meant the Mafia, since they own some of the businesses in town. Some guy also hung himself there a few years ago after killing his wife and child. Not much, but I guess that's the spooky stuff around here. I'm just getting back into the paranormal at the moment so maybe there's more.

 No.37221

Today I was talking with my dad about bigfoot and other strange phenomena, and I was lamenting the fact that these stories always take place in countries far away from home. He told me that a few months ago he heard an interesting story from a group of guys who like to go hiking in the areas surrounding our city.

One day they were visiting a small mountain town and they decided to check out an old abandoned church in the woods. They were warned by the mountain people that there was something wrong with that place and it should be avoided, apparently there had been cases of missing persons and others who had gotten lost and walked around for hours before finding the way back.

Obviously this only made them want to see it more. It was a short walk, the area was small, and they were all experienced hikers, so they figured there was no danger. They found the church pretty quickly, partially hidden by some trees, and then started walking back to the town. But after a few minutes of walking, they had returned in front of the church. They were confused and assumed they must have taken the wrong turn or something.

So they tried again, and again… and each time they failed. They started getting scared, remembering what the natives had told them. The day ended and they were still wandering around in the woods. Then they heard some voices in the darkness. At this point they thought they could be in danger, but they decided that asking those people for information was their best option considering the circumstances.

My dad didn't remember all the details, but he remembered one thing. According to the guys who told him the story, these mysterious people in the woods looked a bit weird. Especially their eyes, they were very big and looked almost Oriental. Even weirder, they seemed to know that the hikers had been warned not to go there. They made a comment like, 'Why did you come here after you were told to stay away?'

But despite their strangeness, they seemed nice and offered to guide the hikers back to town. They walked together for a bit, until they came to a crossing. The strange people pointed in one direction and said, follow that road and you'll soon be back home safely. As for us, we'll go this other way, to the caves!

I plan to go visit those woods eventually. If I see anything interesting, I'll tell you about it.

 No.37435

I live in South Australia. Quick history lesson, we have a new highway built into the side of a mountain called the Heysen tunnels, this was not always here, it was made to replace an old highway called the Devils Elbow, this was done due to the fact that the Devils Elbow was a literal fucking death trap for semi trailers, it was a 45 degree angle around a sheer cliff face, making it that if a semi trailer or motor bike went around at too fast or too slow a speed, they would go over the edge and fucking die. However while it was still in use, a small town called Eagle On The Hill profited Hugely due to the fact that they were a necessary stop off between Melbourne and SA, however when the Heysen Tunnels were built, the town became useless, leaving all but 1 building abandoned, There some fucking mental places up there, There's a Website called Awesome Adelaide that found out that behind the old Petrol Station there was a staircase leading down to a terrifying, something area. I have a story about the place. Here it is.

>Be me.

>Be 17

>Be massively into Urbex

>Here about an servo on top of the devils elbow.

>Go there.

>Get friend to drive me up there

>It's night because SA has a hefty fine for trespassing and not sure if there are cameras.

>Enter through hole in fence.

>Enter the servo

>It's fine in there, could be worse, could be better.

>Notice a weird looking fence upon exiting the servo

>Follow it.

>HolyShit.Webm

>Huge rotting wooden staircase leading down into this dark forest bit.

>Go down the staircase.

>Upon reaching the bottom get instant feeling of dread.

>Overpowering even.

>Shrug it off, hear something like a woman laughing like Ki,KI,Ki,KI,Ki Etc,etc

>See a shadow come out the tree line.

>Nope the fuck out of there.

>Bolt up the stairs, here something fucking sprinting after me, screaming really fucking loud.

>Start screaming too

>Slip over on a puddle on top of the stairs cut myself really bad on the fence.

>Don't care, just fucking bolt through the hole in the fence.

>Fly into friends car.

>DRIVEDRIVEDRIVEDRIVEDRIVE.Mp3

>We go back down the devils elbow

>Look behind me to see a woman with bleached skin and completely fucking naked crouching on top of a streetlight as we leave.

>I shit you not she had no bottom jaw.

Yeah I guess you could say I have a scary place near me.

 No.39553

Not scary, but spoopy nonetheless. My family and I went on a vacation a looking time ago to go to a water park in Texas. Schliterbahn (now there is one in my home town as well and incidentally some senators son got decapitated on a water slide so i doubt I'd go back) in a little town. We stayed at a motel called Faust, everything was perfectly normal, the desk guy was nice and a nice older man insisted on carrying our bags up to our room and positively refused to be tipped.

In the morning we commented on him to the manager, my dad wanted to leave him a tip anyway and was going to have the boss slip it into his paycheck envelope.

The manager told us that they haven't had a bell boy in about 40 years well before he took over.

My dad didn't like getting jerked around by the manager and chatted with a housekeeper making her rounds after breakfast.

She said that was old man Faust, and alot of other guests have seen him, b7t the thing was he had been dead for almost 100 years or someshit. Was the original owner/proprieter and always helped guests everychance he got.

Turns out it's one of the oldest motels in the country.

Tldr a ghost carried our bags to our hotel room

 No.39557

On the edge of the village I live in there's a old lane, the only thing there is a hut by the power company and trees. It always feels like someone is watching you in that lane. I've had weird experiences around it but nothing I can place my finger on.

The road it connects to has a local legend about witches using it to poison the water supply and being hung. While walking down that road I had a dog following me. I noped the fuck out and got a lift home from the cross road. Just fucking NOPE when it's getting dark, you're a mile from any living soul and you hear shit behind you.

While I don't exactly live near it, on every roadtrip I make with my dad and my brothers to the Cajon del Maipo I make it a point to go across it, cuz' it's spooky.

It's called "Tunel Tinoco". And it began being called "Tunel del Diablo" a few years ago after a local show did a segment on it - Calling it that. Supposedly trains used to go through here, but nowadays it's just a huge, pitch black tunnel that you can go through with your car if you're so inclined.

I've heard many things about it, there's atleast three deaths related to it that have been confirmed without a doubt, so of course - You'll hear about ghosts with mangled bodies appearing there, day or night. I've also heard about people finding skinned goats in there, dry blood without any corpses, satanic symbols, screaming, and stuff of that like.

Close by there. I do remember getting some real nice peaches from Fredericksburg. It was a town called New Braunfels

 No.41785

There's a little-known spot by some train tracks called the secret sidewalk. I heard about it from a guy I met at a bar near my work.

Pretty weird, no one knows why it's there, it doesn't necessarily lead to anywhere or start anywhere, it just exists, even though it probably cost at least a few hundred thousand to construct, considering how it hugs the sides of heavily wooded cliffs and whatnot. Of course, there are loads of urban legends surrounding it, but I doubt many of them are true, seeing as how low-effort most of them are.

A little further out is Mt. Shasta, which is supposedly an entrypoint into the inner-earth and a skinwalker hotspot, definitely going camping there if I can get my hands on some free time and some personal protection.

California is pretty boring when it comes to the paranormal, though, I really hate living here, partially because of that. There are just too many people, too much developed land and all that.

When I lived in DC, there were actually tunnels not too far off of the Capital Crescent trail, they were all blocked with steel doors, no handles from the outside or anything, really bizarre stuff. Once I even found some damaged electrical equipment that looked as if it had been set on fire, sitting right outside.
