i have just finished this game on PC, it was pretty fun and the story is entertaining. I'm looking forward to play Soul Reaver next.

It's just that seeing Blood Omen played on PSX on youtube made me feel like i played the inferior version of the game, which is the PC version.
is it really different from each other or is it just me?

I actually have the same question but in reverse, I'm playing PSX and want to know if PC is better. PSX has horrible load times.

Also is there ANY way to quickly swap weapons? Having to use axes/mace to destroy obstacles when they are fucking worthless otherwise is pain.

Psx has long load times and going into the menu is a pain in the arse.

I imagine it has better controls though.

Hehe I remember playing this game through a weekend and hearing his battle cry "FEY VICTUS!" hundreds of times. We'd always laugh as kids when we got Kain to suck blood through the back of his head from sleeping villagers, fun times.

the PC and PS1 versions of BO1 aren't too different from one another. Do try to play Soul Reaver 1 on Dreamcast, though.

You won't regret playing these games, it's the best storyline I've ever experienced in a video game. SR2 is where it really takes off.
