Most of the scares are the Heaven Smiles themselves. You have to keep the volume up to hear them, but if you don't kill them in time, they practically ear-rape you with laughter and an explosion. Other than that it's just bizarre and unsettling. There's at least one or two scenes halfway through the game that are fucked up in ways that are easy to describe but the weight isn't there unless you see it. You'll know when that happens though.

well you see, these brightly marked protruding pieces of metal/plastic on top of the gun are called iron sights. You line up the farther middle one between the closer two and make sure the thing you're shooting at, oftentimes referred to as a "target", is right behind the middle bead. Congratulations! You now have a clear sight picture and "have the target in your sights"!
Now make sure you only aim with one eye, depth perception won't help you much in this situation, and there are no friendlies behind whatever it is that you're shooting.

Efficiency in terms of compatibility with hardware/software, .mp4 is great but if you're talking portability then .webm has it beat in most circumstances. You can make anything look good with enough bitrate so your focus should be using a container that works for your purpose.

I ended up making a webm for a track from Devil Engine. It works exactly as it should with my web browser, but for some reason when played in VLC, it doesn't show the image/video and the progress bar doesn't go along with where it should be.

The game is actually fun when things go sour. When you grab the gripphon and it flies super high until you lose grip, or when the drake brainwashes your companions and you have to take them down midfight, that's when that game is fun.
What I really wanted from it, is a mod that put enemy scale on it. The game becomes boring when you level up too much, reason to why I never got all achievements.
