Is Konami particularly bad about C&D? I like to play some Classicvania fangames or maybe even make one myself. Then again most of what makes up a Classicvania is either prettygeneric or directly ripped off from Hammer and Universal. physics are mostly the same (except for bouncing off enemies being and bounced off a block (works like normal jumps), cheep cheeps, and springboards (way more forgiving)). also there's a bug in 6-2 where the invisible block next to a pipe can be triggered by jumping from the very end of the pipe, clipping you and killing you.
