Apparently, there is another upcoming entry in the "Scifi MMOFPS Disappointment" genre called Starbase, so I'm keen to hear what you guys' take is on it? Is it setting itself up for failure like Star Citizen? How long will it stay in EA hell? Is there some dirt on FrozenByte?

Lay it on me boys. This jaded gamer felt a flicker of hype, so I need a strong dose of reality.

It reminded me of spacebase df-9 and that was a game that failed pretty hard. I'm sure this will be the same, most of these games try too hard for too much but end up releasing a shit ton of bland content rather than the indepth content they said they would.
