Which of the Kirby games are your favorite?
Dreamland 3, Kirby 64, Star Allies, Super Star and Nightmare in Dreamland are my all time favorites.
I particularly enjoyed 64's ability to mix and match powers to form different abilities with my two favorites being a lighting blade and explosive shuriken. There's also the multiplayer aspects in Super Star and in later games. Best ability is UFO and best girl is Ribbon.

64 just feels right. I love that games look, it's ambiance, and it's creative use of the third dimension. Don't know why the later games dropped this stuff. It's so cool.

Aesthetics-wise, probably Kirby's Epic Yarn. It's piss-easy even by Kirby standards but not being able float means you can't just ignore the platforms like in the other games.
Gameplay-wise, Amazing Mirror.

Because the guy involved in the dark matter trilogy might have been assassinated and covered up.
But yes, 64 had this wonderful feel to it, rotating the camera, keeping the game 2d. The puzzles were simple and the power combinations were so freaking fun. I had 100% but I was replaying levels doing things like "which levels can I use the snowball and not touch the controller after I start rolling?" and seeing if I could beat certain areas with certain powers. Plus, kirby could place foes on top of his head that he just inhaled, so you could sometimes use powers of foes who didn't give you powers. It was honestly a slice of perfection.

I really want a sequel to Amazing Mirror. It's my favorite Metroidvania, mostly because unlike other Metroidvania where you have to backtrack and all that stuff, technically you can go anywhere as long as you have the right ability from the bat, making exploration more fun.

I thought about making a cross over between Arcana (or Card Master in nipland), a self-published HAL RPG and Kirby. Except this time I would make a proper card game. It's still an RPG because cards can level up alongside their masters like characters. The difference is that your other RPG items would be cards that have effects like change field or create bomb blocks, etc. Kirby would be the main heroine's (daughter of Rook, the hero of last game) partner. Kirby can copy abilities of other cards and become any element. The heroine is also a card copier who makes counterfeit card which can only be used once. This goes for the spell, terrain, and trap cards. Kirby monsters are cards but there's also cards based on monsters in Arcana's world like Sylph in pic related. Since Kirby is about simplicity to understand but difficult to master. I figure a simple card game with RPG stats can be fun. Could also be fun to have a first person maze game too.
