AMD can't buy all the game developers to force them to use Vulkan, but Nvidia can buy them out to use DX12 or gimp their Vulkan implementation because they have way more resources.

Is AMD really worth it or is it just shills? NVIDIA has better support right or is that long since dead? I was thinking about getting a new PC at some point and switching from NVIDIA and Intel to AMD is tempting.

No new games, but new Ryzen processor line up is bretty good. I'll probably get 3600X myself.

Videocards are a bit on the meh side, though still cheaper than novideo.
