Sorry to ask, but wasnt Brigador made by goons?

couple of years ago, when searching info on it, always landed into SA or other goon-related sites.

The first brigador is an okay game. I enjoyed it, but only for like 15 missions before I felt it got fairly repetitive for my tastes. It's a top down mech/tank shooter where you blow shit up. It has "tank controls"(main gun is tied to you physically turning left or right and not where your mouse is aiming) but really I never had much of an issue with the controls at all. If anything the game is solid, but the main campaign feels very samey and repetitive, and the Up-Armored missions added feel like a terrible way to start the game because they're quite boring and feel like an unnecessary extension to the tutorials.

I'd say pirate it and try it out for yourself. I personally didn't enjoy it that much but a fair amount of anons did.

The first was the single most fun experience I've ever had, when it came to fulfilling an urge to stomp around a city and blow the whole place to hell. I'll echo what the other anon said, that it gets a little repetitive, but it's a really great game for scratching an itch for destruction, and it's also got some good story buried in the descriptions for the weaponry, factions, and areas, and whatnot. It's worth a pirate and maybe a buy.

If you get tired of just blowing shit up, you can always try some meme builds just for the hell of it. I like to try a "donkey punching" melee build with the small spacer agrav that allows equipping a double donkey cannon. That shit is extremely deadly but also extremely risky, it can get pretty intense. I hope the sequel ends up improving on what Brigador already did.

Story is basically (((outside organization))) either having killed or exploiting the death of Dear Leader on Planet South America to hire out Brigadors (basically mercenaries) that are on the ground to do whatever the client wants, which usually amounts to destroying everything in sight and committing war crimes, usually also asking you to smash the space guns so more proper enrichment can take place.

There's three factions besides the Brigadors, the Loyalists, which are your typical spic military junta, Covrids - favela scum and Spacers - highly advanced space degenerates that engage in all manner of degenerate and nasty shit.

What I like is that the writing doesn't really portray anyone as some good goy, the whole cast is made up of social rejects, criminals and the criminally insane running rampant on throughout the chaos with the prize being a ticket off planet, while the main factions are all equally big assholes trying to grab as much clay as they can.

The music's great and blowing shit up in a cobbled-together mech is a blast. Pirate and see for yourself, I don't regret putting hours into it.

Does it matter? If a dev having once used SA is enough of an infraction to influence your

purchases, stop spending money right away. It’s going way worse places daily.
