I don't know of any new ones but I did download the White Day remake again. It is an interesting mixed bag.
>Shit is properly tense, you have to escape dangerous fuckers and hide on the regular, healing items and saves are limited
<The janitors can just up and decide to block your way and not leave
>Has moments that can genuinely make your crap your pants
<It involves jump scares in the middle of chase sequences, cheap but fucking effective
>Understands the importance of spooky noises
>Is very replayable due to choices in conversations that have actual consequences, there's like ten endings I think
<The game banks on that replayability hard even though the janitors are just in the fucking way on repeat playthroughs, you can't really zip past them like you can in, say, RE or SH. And the game expects you to replay it HARD, there's an achievement for finishing the game ten times on the hardest setting, like holy fucking shit you gooks, who does that?
If you're looking for a spooky game with past decade design philosophy though, it's worth checking out.
