Here to link you to 4 of the only good to great Aliens games in existence, and yes unfortunately ALL of them are for the arcade, 2 of which aren't even playable unless you physically go to their cabinets.
Let's start with the first, in no particular rank.
The are the aliens games with creativity in them which aren't afraid of being called "too much like a video game, not realistic enough" like the PC and consoles were so obsessed with.

1994 Alien vs Predator, a beat-em up which was capable of up to 4 players. It uses the same bosses, zombies and more from the Aliens arcade, it even has pizza as a health power up. I'd like to see the PC and console games add pizza for a health pack.

Aliens Armageddon, another rails-on shooter with a lot of creativity, weirdly enough it seems the arcade games borrow ideas from each other for differing alien types.
You might be able to play Extermination on your PC, but tough luck with Armageddon.

And I actually take issue with this description. Dimetric perspective in a game with projectiles is retarded and is absolutely a case of projecting realistic ideas onto a game leading to bad design.

And there was a video game for Alien 4 , but once again a console exclusive for the Playstation 1 and it had some of the shittiest controls and gameplay known to man, making it a big brother to the NES Alien 3 in terms of being shit.
Just like AvP1, AvP2 and even ACM, Alien 4 worked on a 6 year old hardware+software.
Released in October 2000, while the Playstation 2 was released in March 2000, not really giving the dev team and investors an excuse to not use the PS2 over the PS1.
Interesting how there was no Alien 2 video game.

As for Concrete Jungle and Extinction, they're different and refreshing, but not anywhere hinting at great.
and as for SS13's alien mode, it's like playing Killing Floor with aliens, just a hackneyed mod.

I love how huge the bullets and enemies are. In any other game you actually have to aim and the enemies go right past your bullets. You cannot achieve this sort of gameplay in AVP2 or even Counter Strike zombies.

NS2 is actually on sale for 50% off at the moment and it just got a decent sized update to gameplay.
though to be honest it feels like this patch skewed the game toward the ayys but we will see how long that lasts

I'd like to mention that the surface areas were very atmospheric, with silhouette structures contrasting the bleak landscape. Not saying it's a masterpiece of art, but they were original ideas well fitting with the alien themes.
