Didn't have time to post my opinion in the OP, not like anyone would give a fuck anyway, but the whole thing looks like a pile of shit. The form factor is a complete visual abomination, the huge price hike is thanks to stupid shit like dual joysticks and if I'm paying that much fucking money for a joystick it better be able to be used on other shit. Games seem cool, and while this is the first release of AVP outside of the actual cabinet who gives a fuck about that when we have FBA and MAME for emulation?

People get on this point for these collection boxes, but I think they really miss the point, or at least underestimate some aspect of the work that could be involved if they ported each title. I mean assuming accuracy isn't a problem… If you're just dropping games on a new platform with nothing new put into it, and are advertising it as some kind of gaming wayback machine… What point is there to not simply wrap it in a emulator?
We have companies like M2 who, while I really like what they're doing with their sega titles. Actual ports on the Switch, with extras you see how the process can be slow with their release schedule. They've talked about being unsure if they wanted to do handle Saturn titles the same way if they got the chance to do them… I'd like to see more legacy games get proper ports, but for things like the SNES classic, Sega classic, etc. There's not much of a reason to bring it up unless something is wrong with how it works.
