I remember looking for Bigfoot in GTA Andreas Andreas because of rumors and pre-youtube videos I found online. As silly as the Bigfoot in San Andreas was. I still enjoyed looking for it. Even if it doesn’t exist. Something about the outdoor areas in GTA San Andreas that made spooky and fun to explore. I always enjoy looking for cryptid like creature in video games. I wish more open world games have hidden monsters.

There were so many of the Pokemon ones. One claimed that in order to catch the "god legendary bird", you had to catch all the legendary birds and MewTwo, run around your mother 200 times exactly (not one more or fewer), then fly to Cerulean, release all the legendaries, go north to Bill and talk to him 100 times, and at the end he'd give you a new legendary bird.
I fucking did it. I was the most heartbroken 7-year-old when I realized I was duped into releasing all my legendaries in my game that I had put dozens of hours into.

All its bizarre, interesting mods are being held away on dusty computers that haven't been booted up in ten or more years.
