There were so many of the Pokemon ones. At least for certain games there's still some mystery though, like Morrowind, as despite years of effort, the majority of Planet Elder Scrolls' mod library remains lost. All its bizarre, interesting mods are being held away on dusty computers that haven't been booted up in ten or more years. It's obvious IGN just took the entire database and wiped it, then scrapped the hardware when it became dated, but that only enhances the mysteriousness.

Back in the day I went down a rabbit hole looking for weird OoT cheats, rumors, glitches, etc. I found a site (after hours of digging through search results on shit like ask jeeves, angelfire, lycos, etc) that had really weird OoT GameShark codes. From what I remember it was a long code that made your game a weird demonic glitch world. I can't remember many specifics described but man oh man I wanted to play through OoT like that. It sounded spooky. Silly me never printed the long code our nor did I save it. I could never find that fucking website again. It was just somebody's little geocities page or whatever. I never heard of that GameShark code anywhere else, or any mentions of a spooky glitch world like how what was described.
