>Devs come up with 'Games as a Service' as a 'mechanism to keep the consumer locked into our ecosystem'
>Results in shallow as fuck games that follow the same gameplay loop as a gacha, most often just with a shitty bullet sponge shooter as a base
>Second generation games now coming out and focussing on the actual gacha meme of 'time limited content' labelled most commonly as "seasons"
>Have to log in to do 75% of all activities every day of every week for the 'season' or miss even a day and miss the objective, significant player power increases
>Each competing for your free time and want to be a second job rather than simply a fun gameplay experience.
Even Warframe is doing this shit now and i don't think theres anything i want to see go away faster. I even find lockboxes a more preferable cancer than this shit.
How many of you are currently falling for this meme and not even realising it?
