I can't be the only one who remembers this game. It's a 3D fighter 'MMO' that was around in 2007 and then just disappeared off the face of the earth.
What was unique about it is that there was no character roster. Instead you made your own character and chose a martial arts style for them. As you levelled up, you could choose different skills and stuff that would expand your movelist in different ways. From the looks of it, it played a lot like tekken or virtua fighter.

It's a shame it died like 1 year before I got a chance to experience it for myself. But it makes me wonder, could this idea work today?
I mean, it seems to work for the more 'sports' fighters like the UFC EA sports games, UFC Undisputed, and the WWE games. They do incorporate the real-life big names in the industry at the time of release, but the big draw of those games seems to be the career modes where you can make your own fighter and build him up however you like.
Could this work for a more traditional 3D fighter? I think it might.
