I wish instead there was more survival horrors that took the "ammo scarcity" meme and ramped it up to 11. Classic resident evil and silent hill were always reigned as the ones who started it, but honestly, if you play either game even somewhat good, ammo rains from the sky and you'll have piles and piles of ammo you never used by the end, even on hard or "classic/invisible enemy" in the REmake. I also wish that more games magnified the power of guns, in a similar system to this:
>Enemies are constant, sneaking is encouraged but some instances may necessitate elimination
>Only way to kill enemies is with guns, close encounters are a no go
>You can't just shoot wildly at the enemy in the hopes they go down, you have to shoot at their specific weak points, which are very small
>Knowing the weakpoints is vital, and an accurate, and skilled player can one shot most enemies assuming he can remain calm.
>Most encounters are only going to give you 1 to 3 shots before enemies close the distance, so you have limited time to get it right
>Maximum of 5 mags or clips per playthrough, or less depending on the weapon or difficulty
I basically want a game that's similar to most real life situations of "you or them", in which you could turn around to see a bear about 100m off running full speed at you. If you only have an m1911 on hand, .45 ACP to the skull isn't going to cut it, you want to aim for the lungs or heart, which you will have a limited chance to do so.
