ITT post fun games
Just started playing EDF 4.1 and it's really fucking fun.
>first mission is default rifleman with a shitty RPG
>second mission on you're a death god with a realistic shotgun and grenade launcher war chanting into battle
It's been since modded Clear Sky since I've played a game with a shotfun that goes past 3 inches and past 100 meters. It's fucking great to shoot a giant spider a hundred meters away and just see that horizontal shower of death fly straight onto the cunt.
Plus war chanting feels really fucking fun, it's one of the few games where units don't matter, but you still want to save your faceless NPC companions.
Overall it's fun.

deBlob is fairly easy so far but the atmosphere and music make it pretty fun.
Gameplay wise I really like walljumping and painting shit while not touching the ground.

I tend to dick around playing through the game at random difficulties. Trying to win with the terrible/joke weapons or just playing like a jackass is pretty fun. I only play with friends though as I remember hearing that by playing with cheaters, you could fuck your game or your saves or something. So I never risked it despite never really looking into if that was bs or not.

Back up your saves regularly and you shouldn't have much trouble with cheaters. Besides, they're usually easy to spot, with tens of thousands of armor points and just like 5% or less game completion.

Had it since it was ported and played it so much I got a bit tired of it until my nephew caught sight of it and it blew his mind, he was instantly hooked and is always up for 2 player, he's almost as eager for 5 as I am, seeing it anew through a kids eyes made me appreciate it all over again, got midway-ish on hard.
The higher difficulties are ludicrous though so I'm currently cheating my ass off in SP to see some OP weapons. Regardless of load-out or cheating it never ceases to surprise me how hard it kicks your ass, you get blasted into the air, juggled, instantly picked up, taken into the sky and/or chewed to shit, webbed so much you can't move, stung so much you can't see anything but grey shafts and harried from every direction by bots, it's so fucking loud some levels make my TV speakers resonate.

This game's got pretty much everything I've ever wanted out of farming games. It's got disgaea-tier skilling and upgrading, an okay/great cast of personalities depending on who you ask, and all the other games are really good to boot. Decent enough combat and combo dynamics mixed with whatever spice or blend of autism you want to try out and bob's your uncle.
Want to use boxing gloves and suplex people? Go ahead. Want to use a spear and earth magic to keep enemies away from you? It's all there. Want to be a holy-light paladin mage autist? Magic's a main skillset and combinations are up to your imagination.
Can't recommend these games enough.

I tried to like it but i was already familiar with most of the DQ universe so it didn't bring lots of new stuff for me, plus the designs from Akira were cool for the RPGs but not specially attractive as far as collecting monsters did, in fact that was the same reason i dropped out of Monster Rancher, bad monster designs.
Only pokemon alternative that kept me playing was Digimon and that was because at the time i also liked the animes because of lolis or angewomon tiddies.

Typing of the dead is pretty fun and it actually helps improve your typing skills or your english vocabulary.
nightmare creatures is a decent hack and slash? game in an interesting setting, you basically try to kill a freemason before he can spread occultism and demons to the entire world.
MGS1 and 2 VR missions are a good timewaster if you dont have anything else to do, and there are even some mods for th non VR story
Powerslave is a unique FPS with different abilities you get along the way that allows you to reach unreachable areas in previous levels, there are 2 versions of the game you can get, DOS and EX, they're completely different in gameplay and levels though

I'm assuming that you meant to type Kiwami and I wouldn't say it's shit in comparison. It's just worse, still really good but objectively worse. There's just a lot less content and the cutscenes and soundtrack are kinda lacking. It's still absolutely worth it if you liked 0 though.

Mainly, the art style is what put me off. I like anime just fine, but every bit of the art just rubbed me the wrong way.
I like Harvest Moon, and I like a good 2D dungeon crawler. Combining the two should be a slam dunk, but the art, characters and setting repelled me super hard.

Normal mode's on the easy side compared to previous games and despite the lack of a story mode, it's one of the most fun fighting games I've ever played. Every character is a joy to watch and execute such slick fluid moves.
