Last year, around this time, we had /radcorp/'s first and only official tournament. There hasn't (to my knowledge) been any tournament-related activity since, other than the 2-3 tournaments we had for that Touhou fighting game. I don't really know if I'm up for the task of hosting this kind of thing, but if all goes well this time then I'll try to host more activities this year.
What is this game?
Remember Mean Bean Machine? It's that game.
How do I play it online?
For this tournament we're going to use an online simulator called Puyo Vs. The embed has some example gameplay.
Where do I download?

The Linux version has known issues, so you unfortunately may have to use WINE.
Alternatively, you can install the Fun Pak instead, which includes fully animated Compile Puyo characters, the entire cast of Mean Bean Machine (Has Bean being the localized name for Carbuncle), other assorted characters, a little bit of tailor made content and all the tools available if you want to make some mods of your own.

How do I make an account?
At the login screen for Puyo Vs., just type in the username and password that you want. If it's not taken, then it's yours.
How do I sign up for the tournament?

How do I watch the tournament?
When I get a stream set up I'll post a link in the thread.
