What's the best game controller for pc?
I heard that the xbox one is good.
Is this true?

I quite like DS4 and the Steam Controller.
It's entirely subjective.

I own two DS4 but i never used them on pc.
About steam controller, i can't find brand new and it's pretty expensive here.

360pad, wired, chink made, 10 bucks from ebay. Cheap, comfy, reliable, works with everything and if it does break down, use the spare parts for the next one.

Steam Controller, for gyro aiming. It's so much more precise than an analog stick, or even those gimmicky track pads, for that matter. Not joking.

My wired 360 controller only started to act weird last year with the shoulder buttons but that's a no brainer to fix. The reliability of xbone controllers seems all over the place, official or otherwise.

DS4 is my favorite. Steam supports it out of the box now, and most newer games have PlayStation style or at least agnostic button prompts. I used a DS3 controller for ages but the build quality is monkey piss compared to the DS4.
If you want PC controls from the couch, I say use a mouse and a numpad instead of a keyboard.

I like DS4 because you can use the track pad like a track pad and as extra buttons with DS4Windows. Wanted to try steam controller but the only reason I have any controllers in the first place is to use on console (never bought a controller specifically for PC), so I don't know how it is.

While I agree in principle, KB/M is terrible for pixelshit platformers and emulated games.

I like these controllers just fine but i've worn out two dpads with dark souls over 2 or 3 years. I wish l2 and r2 were normal buttons but you could definitely do a lot worse for $20.

I always stick with first party controllers because they tend to last the longest, and I only use them for either emulation or a console port that has absolute shit KB+M controls with no fix, like Resonance of Fate which also requires a 24GB page file wew.

DS4 would be great if directinput would work wireless so you get playstation prompts in natively supported games, right now that shit only works wired.
>>15931570
depends how used to it you are and how much the game supports it, aim assist exists for a reason.

I bought an Xbone controller and it works with everything. One will cost around fifty USD, but they work universally, seem durable and are confortable.
