<NOTE: you cannot have both in one package, as this is the modern video game industry and to get the "full" experience you'd have to buy both version, which is disallowed for this thought experiment

Also, don't feel obliged to discuss pic related game, I'd been watching the movie adaptations and this idea for a thread came to mind.

P3P sucked tho. The original PS2 game's content had to be cut out or made shitty so it could fit on the weaker PSP. The only things going for it are the FeMC and Persona 4's battle system.

I would prefer new content like FES Aigis' story rather than retreading old ground. Give me something new to see.

With the code to enable control of your party members, there's no excuse not to go for FES. As for the question, B for sure as long as they don't go throwing in unnecessary shit. Everything marie was a mistake, but the Adachi route was welcome addition.

it's a fucking broken mess that ruins the game. The new content it adds is worthless in terms of the main plot. The femc is at best a shitty palette swap and at worst a fucking slap to the face in terms of the plot, read: shinji and junpei. the stupid mobile phone style UI takes a shit all over the carefully made environments and the lackluster psp controls makes the game unnecessarily hard to control. and the controllable party members break combat and make the tactics menu completely worthless. The game was balanced around your party members controlling themselves. If you want to actually play persona 3 you need to play p3 fes.

The AI is alright for the most part as long as you analyze enemies, and you unlock more tactic options as you progress. If you've been through the game a time or two, it's a nice change of pace and potentially busting. since everyone has access to the items menu as well.

I think Chrono Trigger DS did this well. The same base game + it gave us a new 14th tragic ending that gave closure to the Magus/Schala subplot.
