It's pretty good, regardless. Just pirate it, and make a mockery of the poz. I chose to play a lizard, and got killed in the first five minutes because I picked a fight by accusing the first NPC of being racist.

Valkyria Chronicles 1 is nice and fun

homm 2 is old af and no controller but I've been playing it and having a lot of fun.

If you can tolerate shounen anime tropes/cliches I'd recommend Trails of Cold Steel 1 and 2. Big warning though it gets really corny and there'll be plenty of moments that will leave you with ocular damage from how hard you'll roll your fucking eyes. The battle system is fun though, and it has some qt waifus.

ES 2 is basically ES 1 but with a massively overhauled ui / graphical fidelity.

It also has an almost entirely new line up. Or, at least it did until they started introducing popular civs from previous games as dlc. The next dlc is supposed to be hacking/espionage.

Overall i'd say it's an iterative improvement over ES 1.
