Not really. I think the only viable threat is falling down from a high place in the later segments of the game. Other than that, it's mostly jumpscares, even if it are nice-looking ones.

I played through it since I like Haunted house sims, but I wasn't a fan when the setting completely loses its form and you just move to room to room with no real connection to the house. Like it has interesting effects, but the sense of exploration is ruined.
