Isn't it weird that Subspace Emissary has so much content that could very well be used in regular Smash gameplay but isn't? It's no wonder Nintendo felt it was such a waste of resources that they decided to go the World of Light route, there's a ton of content that goes barely used.

Anyone else feels the same way about other games? This is not the same as unused content, stuff the developers wanted to put in but couldn't, but stuff that they made and didn't use to it's full extent for some strange reason.

The main thing missing is that the structure of the game works wonderfully in a sidescrolling fashion. What should have come back was Melee's adventure mode. No, I don't mean a remake with more characters in it, I mean the whole:

>Chapter 1 is mario bros

>chapter 2 is LoZ

and so on, letting you do a bit of sidescrolling and a bit of flavor to the main group of characters. Especially Big Blue. How fucking fun would it be to tear down that with Sonic or Wario's Motorcycle? SSE however was just a blobby clusterfuck of unfun foes who just soak damage made ever more frustrating with the need of stickers to just get around them.

After Ornstein and Smough, Dark Souls felt rushed. I'm pretty sure the team was constrained by time limits and trying to polish their golden turd.

I suppose some of those SSE levels could have been remade in the stage builder. While moving ones like the elevator couldn't.

While it wasn't a problem at the time of it's release, looking back after Melee came out, it was always a missed opportunity that Battlefield/Final Destination and Metal Mario's stage weren't accessible for multiplayer in Smash N64.

What I hated about the stickers was how they were organized, everytime you wanted one you had to scroll through that horrible long list and then hope it would fit on the circular trophy base since most were awkwardly shaped which was annoying and time consuming.

Even the "Sticker Album" was terrible to look through, why can't it have been a list form like how trophies were organized IN THE SAME FUCKING GAME.

It's no wonder why Kid Icarus Uprising, "divine powers" system just used block like shapes on a 6x6 grid. An improved version of Brawls stickers but was much more effective and easier to use and could even be auto filled if you didn't care.

While Smash Ultimate Spirits simplified the idea even more and is now 1 main slot and 3 minor slots.for Spirit equipping of battle modifiers.
