/v/ what are some games with artstyles inspired by Moebius you've played or heard of? The two that pop into my mind would be Panzer Dragoon (infact he did the Japanese boxart) and Gravity Rush.

I don't know, but Moebiusfag frog reporting in. I fucking love his works. My favorite is probably L'Enfant Penchée.

Realistically, a video game about his works would either be limited to a point and click, or a stupidly ambitious and unfeasible open world. La Fièvre d'Urbicande could be really neat as you explore an infinitely expanding and growing mesh of cubes taking over a city. And let's not forget about the one in which a civilization of minigirls have to ritualistically sit on a giant dick to be impregnated. No way that would fly in the current censorship-happy climate.

Oh wait, I'm a retard, I posted about Schuiten and Peeters, not Moebius of Incal fame.

So yeah, there is definitely ground for a Moebius vidya with the Meta-Baron. A cybernetic badass who underwent a ritual to rid him of pain, Paul Atreides style except not gay, and also he has an arsenal of weaponry dating three generations of Meta-Barons before him.

I love the art style and design of Gravity Rush. It's what got me into the games in the first place. It was maximum comfy flying around the world taking photos and doing treasure hunts. Speak of which, I just finished re-playing Gravity Rush 1 and the credits played the vocal version of Douse Shinundakara, but I could swear that the first time I finished the game that it was specifically the intrumental version that played. Am I just misremembering or did it save the vocals for later playthroughs?

I believe he meant that the visuals were what got him interested in the game, as opposed to the game being what got him into vidya, if that's what you're thinking.
