No. The Switch Pro Controllers might have latency, but bluetooth's latency is so small when done right that it would be fewer than two frames, otherwise bluetooth mice would be completely unuseable (any amount of lag in a mouse cursor is instantly painfully noticeable).
"Wireless input lag" is mostly a myth. It has been true in a lot of cases because of shit programming in various wireless stacks, not because of inherent lag in the wireless, as long as you don't have some wireless interference in the mix.

The input buffer plus the latency feels so off, and the restricted movement options just make it feel so slow. Everyone is so floaty, when I played Marth it was like I was playing puff. Based on how they handled Mega Man and the Belmonts in terms of authenticity to the games and Villager/Isabelle in terms of making up a moveset, they could probably make it work better than MvC3 did. Inkling is fun as shit, but she can be tough to manage. Ink recovery gets really difficult with more than one opponent on the field, killing almost all of your specials and your flurry attack. Her speed and maneuverability are crazy and she hits hard when she's got ink.

She's more effective if she has ink, so you'll want to maintain a close distance to minimize her ability to recover it (though her splat bomb and roller hit hard, and as you get inked, she does more damage, so this works best once her ink is already low).
She has high maneuverability but launches really far, so you want hard-hitters that don't telegraph. She also has a huge lag at the end of ink recovery, so when she's charging her ink is your sweet spot to punish her hard if you can close the gap or if she's desperate enough to charge while you're close.
Honestly, the Inkling feels a bit broken in 1v1. She gets slaughtered in group matches, but she is so fast and she can constantly get free damage on 1v1, cover everything with ink to speed her up and slow opponents down, and dodge fucking everything, recover ink easily, her recovery is crazy, and her smashes hit really hard, especially when the enemy is coated in ink (and they usually are). The hardest counter is another inkling player who can keep up the pressure and keep her from recovering. She's probably going to get a nerf before long.

K. Rool is definitely broken. He gets superarmor on nearly fucking everything, has crazy range, has crazy recovery, his neutral B is ludicrous, and he can ground you and side smash you into oblivion at ludicrously low percentages. I've fared well-enough against him with inkling, because her projectiles don't really reflect back at her, so she's safer to use against his superarmor, she's fast enough to dodge his cannonball pretty easily (I think she might be low enough to dodge his cannonball in ordinary ink recovery mode too, but I haven't unlocked him yet to verify) and she can usually manage to get some easy ink recovery to continually harass him from a distance without taking much damage, but if I'm against a skilled K. Rool player, I get fucking slammed effortlessly.

I wouldn't say he's all that broken, it's mainly because he's new and people haven't figured a solid effective strategy against him and it also lends to him being extremely well adaptable for a heavyweight. I have so much fun with K. Rool, I find it hard to play any other character aside from Jigglypuff who I mained in 4. His distinct disadvantages are that his moves have a lot of lag to them and the ones that don't, don't have a lot of width to them anyways. It's hard to fastfall with forward air because of this, making it hard for him to zone out opponents. All he can do is keep them away with his crown and gun, he has a hard time controlling situations otherwise. Playing against a K. Rool requires patience, it may be tempting to try and off him first and finish the match, but there will always be a large window of opportunity when he can't react quick enough or have the width or range to cover. It's very similar to how you actually fight him in his boss fights throughout the DKC series. I've had very few people that actually attempt and try to crack his armor as opposed to how most people will opt to deal damage as usual. And he's not as broken and unfair as Bayonetta and Cloud used to be and playing a good K. Rool can take a lot more skill. I've had my ass handed to me by sword type characters such as Shulk or Marth.

Bayonetta was capable using her multiple combo starters to juggle you and then finish you off from the top with 2 consecutive up Bs, she could do it from any percent.
Cloud is fundamentally broken the unholy mixture of Ike, Marth and Little Mac with projectile thrown in for good measure.
Limit Break is the biggest issue because it's pretty much a KO punch that can be used to recover, gimp or kill in 4 different ways and that gives and amount of options on par with Melee Fox. His combination of a big sword, limit break mechanic and his speed is already overpowered, the projectile is overkill.
His biggest weakness is his bad recovery but even that can be fixed with Limit Break.

I discovered yesterday that matches on the spirit board will return later, and the shield retains its damage if you missed before. That explains somewhat why items like shield spacers and sluggish shield are so uncommon. However, I still think it's lame that you have to prove you can beat a challenge and still have a good chance to not get your reward (particularly against Legendary spirits).

Everything the game has t offer in terms of gameplay is available in either standard smash or classic mode. Spirits are nothing and don't even have bios. All spirit mode does is have a few lopsided as fuck event fights that usually require you to have a counter spirit to beat them, and if you can't, you have to grind stupid shit to make the spirit better to reach more spirits. But to what end? A secret playable character? Not really, master hand's fight is short and you can't repeat it without resetting world of light altogether. You get to fight the two secret bosses but they are more souless than the actual bosses. It might be interesting for some of the spirit setups, but as said, several are near unbeatable if you don't have a counter spirit.
TL:DR: Spirits are no different from the badges and sticker shit from SSE and Smash4 but has the false sense of accomplishment because there are no trophies and you have to rank up your spirits to pass some of the rigged shit presented to you.
On that same note, you don't need spirit shit to beat classic mode or to play basic smash, meaning how worthless it is to the game.

Yes it's a different mode, it gives you 10 random spirits at a time like a bounty board and you can choose which ones to fight. If you go with an overpowered build, it's the best place to grind out extra spirits. My favorite is Ganondorf + SKull Kid & Majoras Mask spirit, with the Moon as support. He can kill almost anyone in one or two swings of the sword, so it's easy to grind with.
