The train hat thing is from FO3, it's the presidential metro that you get in and it actually moves. FO4 has a similar monorail thing in nuka world, I'm not sure anyone has investigated how that works. Having leftover code in the engine from a former game isn't really any sort of rarity, since Skyrim and Creation Engine was the last time that the engine went through a sizeable revamp. Starfield will probably be the second time they rebrand and rework it.
I don't think there is anything wrong with using the same engine over a long period of time. Call of Duty has been using heavily modified id Tech 3 for ages and those games are pretty well optimized and look good. Titanfall games also use what was at core level Source engine, and the same applies.

Melee combat is weapons 1, 2, and 3. Being one handed, dual wield, and three handed respectively since they all play near identically and even then I'm being generous with that much. Melee enemies of course have a wonderful AI of 'Rush the player, don't stop'.
Ranged combat is bland since from level 1-100 you're always at the same accuracy and the AI isn't good enough to make shooting fun
Magic is the same as ranged but with a recharging ammo than item and even then the non damage spells are pretty mundane as far as magic goes with your base spell > Stronger versions > AoE > Supah AoE
Theres never any reason to loot since items sell for shit and you never actually need gold outside of getting crafting materials or spells, but even then materials are plentiful given minimal effort. And since you don't need to repair or maintain equipment once you do upgrade gear you never have to worry about it again outside of grinding to get better stuff
The story's boring as fuck too. And the music is pretty bland.

I don't care if Bethesda didn't get a single dollar, it's not even worth pirating. I pirated and played 60 hours and just rushed the main quest. It's very rare I play a game where I'm dieing for it to end. I got duped and actually bought skyrim, had fun for 30 hours and realized underneath it all it's a shit game.

no they wouldn't. You're just deleting faces. The UVs don't need to be changed. Its actually pretty incompetent that those faces were left in because those are faces being rendered that are wasted. Those only case where doing this would make sense is if the developer were using a model atlas but its obvious that Bethesda aren't smart enough for that otherwise they'd have done it for everything in the game.
