hi I just played Might & Magic III: Isles of Terra

I noticed some strange things:

-in the city, there are shops banks etc, but there are no homes. and there are no pedestrians. so where do all people live?

-on adventure map city is small just 1x1 grid, but when you enter it's huge, 30x30, so how is it possible? is the city in another dimension or in black hole?

also a question:

-is it allowed to save game often and load it when you die, or is it cheating? I think I can heal dead people in church, so maybe saving is not necessary? in broken games like The Elder Scrolls: Arena, saving is allowed and necessary to play game. but how about this game?

-how to check what are statistics of item in equipment? if I go to shop I can identify item for money, but what when I am out of item shop? Should I note item stats on paper, or what the fuck?

-why stupid game doesn't save words that you can use to teleport between cities and places? why the fuck do I need to note them manually on paper?

Most of these questions can be answered with "Because the game is old". Why bother with 3 when World of Xeen is much better?
